And one other thing: what exactly was the motivation to give EVERY coach an automatic one-year extension "because of" the covid situation? I'm damned if I can understand that rationale at all. So if you were a demonstrably bad coach as proved by your performance before the pandemic, you got a pass because of the pandemic? Does not compute for me.

I noticed AB at the pregame at Milwaukee Brewing Co. laughing and having a grand, old time. Is she that clueless ... or was she celebrating a job well done? Now Baldwin's contract, Braun's contract and the Arena deal are all set to expire at the same time. Kind of like celebrating on the Titanic. If there is such lack of self-awareness (there is, outside of a handful of AD employees), we've little hope with the current AD. We have to change the mindset of the folks in Chapman Hall. It is laughable to envision our situation at almost any other program in the country. But our expectations have been pulled down to the roots of absolute failure so we can't even see how bad this looks from the outside (I've talked to people- it looks bad from the outside). Time to get loud is right. And it's long overdue. |

PS: With Gholston and PBJ working together on social media alone they probably could have gotten some more talent here. It is a bigtime bummer than we didn't get any other (esp. PF/SF) players to compliment Jr.
It is a much bigger of a bigtime bummer that it appears as though Jr. is treated much differently than every other player on the team.

With almost no paying fans, and boosters and sponsors long since having run for the exits, she knows how unlikely it is the U could find any money to buy her or PBS out. Thus is an unworthy tenure engendered. On a related note, I noticed watching the game last night on ESPN+ that during almost every timeout... nothing happened. Wayne stopped talking. The camera just focused a long focus shot on center court, where you could see the little girls dancing show or the silly fan games or whatever, but not hear them except in a distant, muddied echo of the PA announcer. You could see the teams huddled with the coaches. It just seemed like something, something was missing. COMMERCIALS. As best as I can remember there were NO commercials from any private source. In the VERY few breaks that featured any commercials, they were for: UWM, the Horizon League, or Cleveland State. This comes as no surprise. Who would pay to advertise on an event that nobody watches? Now tell me why that won't get immensely WORSE next year if there's not a complete reboot of the program. |

so we're stuck with baldwin next year too? Dang. so we can look forward next year to the same as this year: at least 10 games under record and almost no wins past mid January. On the plus side, Baldwin can continue to climb the most losses by a UWM coach list , i think he'll be at about 120 by the end of next year.

Believe me, Nick, he's not fit to loosen the sandal straps of the guys he'll soon be approaching in losses. |

By the way, could all of you who over the past few months gave props to AB for not caving and giving PBS an extension while waiting for PBJ's commitment announcement please raise your hand so we can throw a few virtual rotten tomatoes at you? Related note: PBJ waited to commit until long after there could be any "recruiting halo" despite the fact PBS already had an extension. Let that sink in. In all reality, any props I might've given were given fully knowing the possibility I'd have to wear them later. She is a piece of trash human being, after all, and has proven it once again. |

It doesn’t have to be dirty or disrespectful. Fans can just share their displeasure on one post or hashtag. Otherwise, any email we sent will be deleted in seconds. The dept needs to know that the program still has fans/supporters and aren’t pleased. |

I suppose I get grim satisfaction that Baldwin and AB's contracts both technically expire in 2023. Good job. You gotta get a website and then work on a press pass, so this Coach is actually asked a challenging or in-depth question. |
