I was expecting a 13 or 14 but either way we have to win 3 to get in and I think 3 wins would cause us to move up at least a seed or two.
If we do make it I think we get a 14 with a shot at a 13.
Didn't Wright St get a 14 when they made it a couple years ago?

I brought this up in the YSU thread. A 13-seed is very possible with some upsets in other mid-major tournaments.

I brought this up in the YSU thread. A 13-seed is very possible with some upsets in other mid-major tournaments. While I agree with you lets look at it like this. Lets say we are the top 15 seed. 14 Seeds: Bucknell, Vermont, Fairfield, Coastal Carolina 13 Seeds: Oakland, Missouri St, Harvard, Charleston We would have to pass all of the 14's and then maybe one or two of the 13's to have a solid 13. I think we can pass Fairfield and Coastal Carolina (Since they have been losing lately) and maybe Vermont but Bucknell has a much higher RPI then us so I'm not sure we pass them unless they lose in there conference tourney in one of the upsets you mentioned that would need to happen.

Playing 2 games against Valpo, Butler or CSU will help too.

Any #15 seed from the HL, I would be a worried #2 seed.

Any #15 seed from the HL, I would be a worried #2 seed. The funny thing is that if this were the real bracket and we did the unthinkable and took down 2 seeded Kansas I would love to get Cincy or Bama in the 2nd round as neither one really worries me.

A 15 seed seems to low. The Horizon has a conference RPI of around 11. Where is he going to put the auto-bids from all those lower RPI conferences?

I don't think there's any need to look too much into Lunardi's seeding. To the untrained eye, we probably are a 15. But let's play out the "ifs" here. IF Milwaukee wins tomorrow, and IF they win two more in the tourney, that'll bump our record up to 20 wins. Within those wins we'll likely have 4 RPI top 50 wins, not to mention 7 RPI top 100 wins. Could any previous NCAA Panther team claim that?
Our own RPI will still be problematic, along with some real clunker losses... but, I suspect we do no worse than 13 given the top 10/11 conference affiliation.

Keep in mind Lunardi does not project what will happen just projects if the season ended today. I think if we win 3 more games our resume would be a tad better and we would move up.

Exactly. I'm just happy to see Milwaukee's name back up there in the final week of February.

Based on our good wins and how we are playing down the stretch I would fancy us a 13 seed for sure if we win out. A 13 is by far best case scenario for making some noise in the tournament, so lets hope we can take care of business.
After witnessing the CSU game last night I would say this team is about 30-40 points better than they were 2 months ago. Its literally night and day and I think anyone who follows college basketball (IE a selection committee) will take notice.

And if the SEC has the 2nd most teams in the tourny it will be a crock. They deserve 3 teams, maybe 4 at the most.
