I liked the article. It also confirmed my suspicion of the relevance of both the Ken Pom and Sagarin ratings.

Today Lunardi still has us as a #15 seed but this time playing in Denver against Jimmer and BYU.

I would love if we made it to the dance and played here in Denver!

"I would love it if we made it to the Dance."
As for the rest, let's not put the cart before the horse.

Well when the new bracketologies come out we may move up a spot for a few reasons.
The brackets are based on "if the season ended now" so in the next update we will have another top 100 win added to our tourney profile.
Also Coastal Carolina lost today giving Morehead st (19-13) the auto bid. I think we would be seeded ahead of them if we make it instead of being behind Coastal Carolina had they made it.

It looks like a Butler loss on Tuesday and they still will make the big dance.

It's actually UNC Asheville that beat Coastal Carolina.
If you anticipate Milwaukee going to the Dance and you're tracking the brackets, this is exactly what you want. In every league in which there will be only one bid, you want the lower-seeded (and thus 100-plus RPI) team to prevail.
This will help move the Panthers up off the 14 line, provided they take care of business in front of a raucous, partisan, sellout crowd on Tuesday at The Cell. (I hear that ticket sales were extremely brisk at the postgame ticket window).

I had to wait for people to go to the bathroom and whatnot so I didn't get in line until late, and the best available tickets were 5th row in 322. Not exactly the greatest seats ever. Something tells me this one's gonna be full.

Lunardi has Michigan State in, Mo State out. Disgusting. Lunardi's brackets are gonna be a bit more misleading. I think Mo St. will get a fair shake on Sunday, but they didn't play that many good teams. I mentioned in another thread I would put VCU in over them, and I would put VCU in over Michigan, Colorado, Alabama, and the list goes on, but Joey brackets doesn't even mention them. I think there is a few mid majors and Harvard (low major) who aren't being talked about, but will get more consideration for an at-large than people think. The new format should get more consideration for these teams.
