Got our ticket information packets in the mail. Looks like they are tarping off a majority of the arena or they are not allowing season ticket holders to sit in the normal $65/season ticket seat as they did in the past.
Cheapest package is $130 & if that is the case our group of 6 isn't spending $800 for tickets.

That would stink. Leave 323 alone!

It looks to me like they're only allowing for a capacity of about 2,600. So all attendance figures must end there!
I can't believe that they're RAISING ticket prices! I'm without speech!

I can't believe that they're RAISING ticket prices! I'm without speech! Paul, they are not raising pricing! Courtside, Center Court Gold, Center Court Black are all same price. Priority area is now the Grey Zone. It went down in price by $55! Yes, they got rid of the corners for $75 & $90.

I'm curious of the home schedule. We decided to go to less games instead of a full season. No interest in watching multiple games vs non D1 Opponents.

Last season it was 2 Non D1 schools out of the 16 homes at UWMPA. The norm is 2. Plus, we learned last season it's not a sure win.

So, the number of seats available at Panther Arena now is LESS than the capacity of the Klotsche. Tell me again why Snaglepuss still has a freaking job???

Taking out the corners effectively doubles prices for those ticket holders (and gives them worse seats), but at least there will be a worse product on the floor this season.

Overall attendance was down by approximately 50% from 2016 season to 2017. In an effort to boost attendance they eliminate our season ticket package and now want us to pay an approximate 75% increase to move across the aisle. All this on the heels of a program in disarray. 13 of the 17 on the roster will be new with and a declining attendance. Good idea to alienate your season ticket base while you are trying to increase attendance. Called ticket office to voice concern got an I agree with you but I have to support my boss. Told she was trying to make it a more intimate environment for her student athletes. Not not even an offer of how can we make this right or what would it take for you to renew. It will be more intimate environment when season tickets plummet and fans are scarce. Fire this goof already..

Unless I missed your example, the $75 corner is not a better seat than a the center court sections. The $90 seats in the 200 was a steal. Let's keep it real, selling your product for $75 is a joke. Also, I would think it's unfair to judge the new faces on the team as worse product just because we have not seen them play.

I was always shocked at how cheap the 2 for $55 and 1 full season for $75. However, isn't it a function of demand?
It's like any sporting event with lower demand: why buy a season ticket package when you'll get numerous mid year deals that are better than paying up front. The season ticket holders rarely get anything in return when a team/program runs cheap deals during the season.
We had 6 sets of season tickets last year and we couldn't get ONE Pounce Star Wars bobblehead.....

Also, I would think it's unfair to judge the new faces on the team as worse product just because we have not seen them play. A low row in the corner is better than anything in the 300s in my opinion. $75 was a good value, and I'm not against small increases in price, but I can say I'm against pretty much doubling it. It's super easy to hide behind "well you never know if they'll be worse" but losing 90% of your scoring and having to scramble last minute for a picked-over group of transfers gives me some confidence that I can judge them as a worse product, having seen them play or not. I think you will find the statistics on teams with that amount of personnel losses and very low continuity at the mid-major level are pretty bleak, especially when the turnover happens as late as it did this offseason.

We had 6 sets of season tickets last year and we couldn't get ONE Pounce Star Wars bobblehead..... First to start, thanks for posting the photo for the ticket map pricing for this upcoming season. I'm wondering what the top says, because the postman has come for the day to my house and I have not gotten the renewal package yet in the mail. So, I'm just going off the photo. I don't remember the 2 for $55, I remember the 2 seats for $99 for first time buyers. Then, they were $99. Finally, the last few years they were $75. In the words of UWM's old ticket manager Brian Morgan, in who I speak with on a by-weekly time at Marquette, said those sections were to just get folks in the door and hope for them to upgrade to better seats. He said to myself on the section years ago. I have zero contact now with anyone at the UWM Ticket Office today. I have open myself many times to Ron Reeves and I get nothing. I know they read these boards, so they can feel free to contact myself. I don't know what the mindset now is on the sections for this year. I do like how it protects the value of the donor sections. So, is it function of demand? Sure. That said, buying season tickets in the old $75 or $90 was the smartest way to go, than any mini plan or promo deal they did during the season. That is myself saying that, as last season promo schedule at UWM was excellent!! The $75 season ticket was a seat that $4.41 per game! The $90 was $5.29 per game. The NEW GRAY LOGE section for this season at $130 will be $8.66 per game. I don't know the single game cost for that section, I'm willing to bet it's $17 seat. So, huge savings as a season ticket holder. Last, sorry you didn't get a Pounce Star Wars bobblehead. If I remember that promo was for the first 1,000 that game.
