I also would be lying after seven years of being in the GOLD area ($290) per seat I was thinking about moving to the section 205 the old color coded RED area at $90 per seat. I own two seats, so the thought of saving $400 in odds in what might be a year that the team in a year away sounded good.[/quote] Yes, even in this scenario you're out $40 more per seat than you were thinking. There are ways to increase prices without aggravating fans, and they chose a different direction.

My mail person came today. I still have NOT gotten the renewal package. No one has received the typical renewal package yet. All that was sent was a 2 page letter stating the changes for this upcoming season. I'm not even sure if you'd be able to renew your tickets right now if you even wanted to since the instructions for online account management haven't been sent yet. The only things mentioned were the new account management, updated seating options/prices, panther fund donation being now a per seat model and two different donation levels for a free parking pass for the season. That's it. I don't know when the actual renewal info will be mailed.

I didn't even get that in the mail. Let's hope on Monday.

Agreed that MU seats at $125 look much more appealing to us non-alums that just like college hoops, and for someone that has had both for a while, I have a strong notion to have my college hoops dollar walk down the street toward better MU seats than reinforce a move that seems determined to alienate at least a portion of their fanbase (and a program that succeeded in alienating a large portion of their roster). Other options would be to cherry-pick a few games, some kind of mini-plan, or just skip the Panthers altogether this lost season. I also would be lying after seven years of being in the GOLD area ($290) per seat I was thinking about moving to the section 205 the old color coded RED area at $90 per seat. I own two seats, so the thought of saving $400 in odds in what might be a year that the team in a year away sounded good. What was the donation for the Gold section? Just curious how the per seat model is going to affect you in that regard. Because the price per seat went down by $20 ($290 to $270). But the per seat donation in that section is $125. So $250 for both. For comparison, the Black zone is $50 per seat as opposed to $100 per account. So the price for me didn’t change at all since I have 2 sears. Might be worth at least moving from Gold to Black if I were you.

So, the cost is the same. Same price point as you! The Gold section was $250 per account. Now, it's $125 per seat. What I'm thinking about doing is giving up my seats in my name. Pantherwalleye (alumni) who doesn't show up on the board that much wants to save some bucks. That GREEN sections in the alumni area are nice seats. So, we will get our two sets of aisle seats for $140/seat in the 200 level. $280 total for the wife and I. That is our thought as of now. Subject to change. Looking for a change to sit on the westside of the arena. We have always been on the eastside of the arena.

My son and I lost our front row section 110 Alumni Gold tickets (far corner right by the player entrance). They were awesome seats. My son was super entertained with that corner. Unfortunately may not be renewing.

Alumni Gold used to wrap around to the front corners on each side, which included a 4-seat row sliver of section 110. The seats would still be available, but at $395/seat instead of $130/seat.

Yes, I see now from the old map. Just get section 210 at the same price and move to section 110 or 111 on gameday. More often than not, they will be open.

The letter we received said that the season ticket holder package will be mailed out later, with Account Manager instructions. Hopefully we receive that soon, since tix are already on sale. I have an email and VM i to the ticket office asking about this.

I have an email and VM i to the ticket office asking about this. The package I hear will get mailed out today. You can also do an online account. I would think the best is if someone is moving to different seats is to call. I also heard from a non-UWM birdy that Ron Reeves the ticket manager quit about a week ago. mkepanthers.com/sports/2014/9/11/tickets.aspx
