Link: Nighthawk Returns: a Cleansing PurgeNighthawk and I have gotten into plenty of arguments, and we usually do not see eye to eye. I'm not 100% with him here, even, but I think given the support he's given over the years to this program, the least I could do is host his op-ed. Obviously, I'm arguing in almost the exact opposite - I'm calling for everyone to come together, sans the athletic director, and support the next coach. But he wanted to say something and he didn't want to say it on the board, so here it is. |

It's hard to fathom this is from Nighthawk considering at no point did he unnecessarily yell at a ref for having potential gambling ties to this at every questionable call.
In all seriousness, Jimmy, can you help interpret this comment - "With alleged Athletic Director Amanda Braun’s decision to relieve Rob Jeter of his duties, the die was cast."
What's alleged? That she's the AD?

I meant every word of what I wrote. The current AD has brought this upon herself. Sometimes hard truth is difficult for people to accept. I am sorry if this is difficult for some, but it had to be said.

Thank you Rob Jeter! What a huge loss for UWM and Milwaukee. State of Wisconsin proud, State of Wisconsin loyal... You made an unbeleivable impact on a university, community, and thousands upon thousands of people.
We are shocked and saddened, and 2 kids and 2 parents are sad, but are blessed by having the opportunity to call you coach, mentor, but most of all, Friend.
Thank you to you and your family for your service and efforts, making and leaving UWM , UWM Mens Basketball, and our community in a much greater place.
