The '71 Bucks played games in Madison??? Wow. Just wow. This WCD deal is a recurring nightmare. I'm not sure about 1971 specifically, but the Bucks also played "home" games in Green Bay in the late 60s and early 70s. But to know they actually turned away the WIAA's when they operate the best place to watch a basketball game in the entire state is just more proof that the WCD (like many of our city's civic institutions) are run by incompetent, out-of-touch people who do not know what the f**k they are doing.

I used to go to 6 Wave games and about 10 Admiral Games a year. I'd go to one Wolves game and get all kind of E_Mails and calls asking me to come back. Zilch from the Waves, Admirals or Marquette.

I wasn't serious about Miller Park, there are a number of reasons why the HL tournament couldn't be hosted at Miller Park. Threw it out there for sh*ts and giggles.
To be clear, the WCD did not exist in 1971, the Arena was a separately run entity.
I don't know how much money the WCD makes from the naming rights, but it sure would be nice to once again call it the Milwaukee Arena.

watching the CSU game as well and i was pretty sad when they commented on the fact that if we win the HL, that Disney on Ice will be preventing up from hosting the semi's at The Cell. Lovely.

Should we get the #1 seed...would it be possible to move our actual floor to the opposing teams gym?

From an email message 2/21: the Panthers are currently in position to host a first round Horizon League Tournament game on Tuesday, February 28th at 7p.m., at the Klotsche Center. So DOI has to set up two days in advance?

So DOI has to set up two days in advance? I imagine yes, since the ice isn't installed all the time in-season like it is at the Bradley Center.
