I'll take the Klotsche for the biggest game of the year over the Kress Center, Resch Center, UW Fieldhouse, Bradley Center, Al McGuire Center or any other venue they can muster.

Why in God's name would we NOT want to play a tournament game at the Klotsche if the alternative was playing in Cleveland or Indy or Valpo? I literally can't believe the suggestions that we should rather play such a game at the Al. We should take a game like that off OUR campus and put it on someone else's campus -- in a facility that holds no more people than the Klotsche? Why? Because it's prettier? That is the nuttiest thing I have ever heard.
If we are the regular season champion the quarters and semis will either be at the second place school's venue or, if the league permits it, the Klotsche. That's it. Those are the choices. If that comes to pass, I vote Klotsche. So will the athletic department. End of story.

I had front row seat at KC before the move, and currently have front row seats at the Cell. The last two seasons, when we've played at the KC, I've been placed in seat locations that are not close to my season ticket locations. I'm not happy about that... Again, the KC sucks.

Yes the KC sucks, but I will take watching a game in person at the KC than watching a game on the HLN.

Or having the seats filled with 1,000 students on each side of the court over having to make -- or not make -- an eight-hour drive. Unlike the Nebraska-Omaha or Cardinal Stritch games, this isn't about creature comforts, folks. It's about the NCAA tournament.

I don't like the KC at all, but if the HL toury can be played at the KC, I'll be there.
What are the reason why many of you hate the KC?
I think the yellow chairback seats suck. You feel to far away from the floor. Or it's that netting in the ceiling, that you think your going to hit your head. The scoreboard, only gives you the score.

Klotsche isn't ideal, agreed. Someone dropped the ball big time in not securing the dates, agreed. The Al is a minor step up from Klotsche, but we'd likely have to rent it out, and lose at least a portion of concessions/merchandise sales. Giving our money to our cross town foe? I'll pass, thanks.

Agreed. I don't care if we have to play it at Church-League gym. If we get rights to host- play the 2nd round wherever you like... but the Semi's better damn well be played in Milwaukee. You can't strip a team's accomplishment like that.
But many games to be played yet... I'm thinking Milwaukee, Cleveland State, Butler, and Valpo will be among the "Final Four" of the Horizon (sorry, Detroit- especially after last night, I just don't see it... all the talent a coach could ask for... and no execution*).
*Kaylon (yes, older and with more experience) is absolutely better than Ray McCallum Jr. IMO. Big difference between having skills and how you use those skills. As said on pantheru.com- if Gulley and Meier can click on the same nights... watch out. Let's go get 2 more folks.

If we can get the semis at the Klotsche, I am more than happy to do that rather than going elsewhere. The key is it needs to be at a place where Milwaukee fans can get to easy, so we can actually have a homecourt advantage. If we do end up getting the first seed, I am disappointed we can't host the 2nd round games too. I really enjoyed going to all of the games last year for the HL tourney.

I want to know who made the call. Was is the WSD telling the Panthers to shove it. or did our AD drop the ball. I don't know if this has been brought to light
