Wisconsin is very beatable this year. This could be huge for UWM.

A good friend of mine who was going to take four of my 3rd row tickets had to cancel on me today due to unfortunate circumstances, so I now have 4 VERY good tickets available. Sec 105, Row 3 (basically across from the Milwaukee bench), $30 each.
I'd really like to see these go to Panther fans, so inbox me if you want them, or even just a pair. They will be going on craigslist tomorrow!

Badgers handled UNLV today. Im still feeling that this will be a very competitive game and am looking forward to it. Hopefully the rest of Milwaukee will come out and support the Panthers and there wont be too much red in the stands. The crowd will be big in this game(especially the students).

Wisconsin is very dependent on the three this year (especially without Leuer and Nankivil), and their shooting has not been stellar. If UWM finds them in a shooting funk, this could be a trap for Wisconsin. As was already mentioned, the Panther faithful need to be LOUD.

The only potential positive of getting our ass handed to us at UNI is that UNI is the most "Wisconsin-like" team on the rest of our schedule, and they are almost as good. So Tuesday is not going to be a big change in style. Expect very tough defense and a lot of ball movement leading to open shots from the Badgers, just like UNI.
And here's a hint: don't leave Ben Brust open. In fact, don't even think about leaving him open. His range is 30 feet and Bo has given him the green light.

Brust is either a 70% shooter or a 10% shooter. If he's on fire, it doesn't matter where or how you guard him, but if he's cold, UW is in trouble in any game they play.

I am still nervous about Jordan Taylor. He has been quiet lately and I am hoping he doesn't have a performance like DJO did for MU last season that saved MU from losing to us.

Its nice to have a defender with the athleticism of Ryan Allen, just in case somebody like Taylor or Brust catches fire. The UNI game only discourages me a little, as that's a tough venue against a disciplined, well coached team. I know one thing, last season's game against Depaul was easily the worst game I've ever seen a panther team play. By contrast this years game against Depaul(albeit far from perfect) is a beacon of how far the team has come in a year. I expect Wisconsin to be ready for us, and I expect this to be a dog fight until the end. If we come out executing early like we did in the Depaul game, I like our chances of winning.

I think Ryan Allen on Brust is the play when he's in the game. (Although on reflection I hate keeping Ryan that far from the basket on defense, since he's one of our best defensive rebounders.) Kaylon has to guard Jordan Taylor (who appears to be still slowed by his ankle surgery). Paris or Evan on Josh Gasser.
Up front it's going to be an even bigger challenge, I think. Berggren is tall, long and skilled. Breusewitz and Evans are very active, very athletic forwards. Kyle Kelm is going to have to play big, Tony has to shoot well, and James Haarsma had better eat his Wheaties Tuesday morning.
So far the only chinks in Wisconsin's armor are Taylor's slow recovery from his injury and the team's overall mediocre free throw shooting (about 66%). If Taylor rounds into form and they improve their line percentage, this looks like it could be one of Bo's best teams.

This, I believe, has always been our biggest physical challenge against the Badgers.

Anybody live in Waukesha county or close to the Muskego area and could possibly let me hitch a ride?
It is looking like I may be without my car tomorrow and no way to get down to the game. This is one game I CANNOT miss so I'm trying to get something figured out in a hurry. I don't know if I will need a ride for sure but I would like to throw it out there in case. If not its not biggie I am working on other ways to get to the Cell.
If you can PM me and thanks ahead of time.
