How about this? A victory over the Badgers would be the only home victory over them in the D-I history of the program. With everything that we've suffered as a program at the hands of Wisconsin (directly or indirectly) - far less funding, far lower perception, all the negative parts of being on the "lower" end of the Madison-Milwaukee relationship, I wouldn't be the least bit disappointed in students rushing the court.
It's the students chance to say, as a group, "There. Tonight, for one night, we've bested you."

How does one get a parking pass for the game or am I too late?

If you are watching TV tomorrow afternoon, the game is talked about on the Sports 32 Roundtable tomorrow. Dennis Krause does a good job of making sure they are called the MILWAUKEE PANTHERS, not the UWM Panthers... Dennis is a true pro!! I enjoy listening to him during Packer pre-games too.

How does one get a parking pass for the game or am I too late? If you park early enough, there is a non-metered, 3 hour parking on 3rd and McKinley, right in front of the TWC building...

One thing I know, Buppie, is that like UNI, the Badgers are a disciplined, well-coached team. I agree 100%. I also agree with what Fran said, in that once Taylor is fully in the swing of things, this could be one of the best if not the best team Bo Ryan has had. What we have going for us is that Taylor isn't fully in the swing of things, and for us it appears Tony is. Plus we get to play them at our venue with a good team for the first time in my memory. If/when we win will it be a top 10 victory in our programs history? In the words of Kobe, "that's a Bikram Yoga stretch". If its the feather in our hat that gets us an at-large bid this year, then maybe I will consider it top 25 or something. Storming the court would be borderline bush league, we are the defending conference champs and a good team.

There will be a court storming if we beat the #14 ranked program in the country. I don't see a reason not to. One of my favorite memories as a student thus far following this team is storming the court in 2009 when we beat #21 Butler.

What it's going to take? ...
Victory Goes To Heart: In battle for state honors, Panthers show how much more they want it
By Dennis Chaptman of the Journal Staff Dec. 13, 1992
Madison, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin lacked the points and the poise to defeat cross-state archrival UW-Milwaukee Saturday.
But more troubling, said Wisconsin coach Stu Jackson, his Badgers lacked the heart.
The Panthers defeated Wisconsin, 77-72, winning their fifth consecutive game this season and earning their first-ever victory over the Badgers before 10,639 fans at the Fieldhouse.
"They have to look inside themselves, dig down and see what the hell's there," said Jackson, who spoke emotionally about his team's lack of determination.
"We faced a team that, quite frankly, wanted the game more than we did and played with such a big heart and so much determination," Jackson said.
That grit showed in how the Panthers rebounded and raced for loose balls.
It showed in superior athletes and a defense that neutralized Wisconsin's two best players -- forward Michael Finley and point guard Tracy Webster.
UWM coach Steve Antrim said the game was a tribute to his players' hard work.
"I thought we tried," Antrim said. "We tried as hard as we could try. We can't play any harder than we played."
The Panthers held Finley, who came into the game with a 21.8-point average, to 10 points.
UWM was paced by forward Craig Greene with 23 points and point guard Marc Mitchell with 16.
The Panthers controlled the game in the late going, taking a 44-43 lead with 17 minutes, 5 seconds remaining. They never trailed again. ...

Expect it to go up.
According to Tom's story in today's J-S, Kyle may miss the game with a shouder injury.
If he does, that would leave us with James as our lone "big." Things would be bleak.

what you call "bush league", i call "stunning" 1. They beat the #1 team in the country. 2. That just shows you how fall a former national power has fallen.

Kyle is one player we cannot do without against a big team like Madison. If he's not playing tonight, any slim chance we had at winning has just gone out the door. Sorry, but no chance at all if he doesn't play.

If we have Ja'Rob back I think we can win without Kyle, he is good but I think we could fill his rebounding with Demtrius and his scoring with Ja'Rob. Without Ja'Rob we will have trouble scoring.
