It eludes me why some of you are disappointed that there are no stories about how our coach may be considering leaving. If Rob leaves, there will be a story. If he doesn't, the silence of the JS, however motivated, will have been a blessing.

Just checked out the Journal Sentinel. The headline read: Jeter takes early retirement, moves to Del Boca Vista! Evidently, he's hanging out with Howard Hughes and Elvis. I never imagined this was even a remote possibility. Any truth to the rumor he's moving there out of spite?

Nothing on ESPN.com, but their sports ticker says the "deal has been closed." Larranga IS Miami's new coach.

I don't think we will ever hear public in what was said between Jeter and Miami.

Less than two years later, the Hurricanes are 8th in the nation this week after oblitering Duke a few weeks ago and winning at NC St. last Saturday. This program is where it is not only because of the coach it did hire, but also because of the wise decision to not hire a certain other candidate.

This has become the sh*t-on-coach-Jeter board, and it's getting really boring and predictable.

it's getting really boring and predictable. It's a lot like our Men's Basketball in that regard. I wonder if you would feel different if you had invested anywhere near the time and money I (and several others) have into this program. You've never known anything but Jeter as coach. I feel ripped off and taken advantage of. I know I'm not alone in that opinion.

+1
i understand people's frustration, especially if they are or have been donors to the program in the past. But the board has become largely about finding new ways to show contempt, and that's boring.
