Do we know if the MSOE game is an exhibition game? It doesn’t look like it. If not, I find it strange that an exhibition game hasn’t been announced. Obviously, three non D-1s isn’t ideal (especially since none of them are even D-2s… have we even had a D-2 opponent since the Concordia St. Paul debacle?), but it sounded like scheduling was extraordinarily hard this season. Hopefully after a year of Lundy, scheduling won’t be as hard. Random thoughts... It looks like Marquette has not scheduled an exhibition game this year either. Perhaps programs are trending in this direction??? With two D3 and one NAIA opponent on Milwaukee's regular season schedule, that's more than enough. Hopefully the traditional exhibition timeframe can be used more effectively and cost efficiently for a couple of closed door scrimmages. North Park lists the Milwaukee game as an exhibition for it's program. As we have seen in the past, that does not mean it is automatically an exhibition for the other team. We have been hearing more and more how tough scheduling has become. It would be nice to hear Coach Lundy's legitimate take on scheduling this year and what has been learned for upcoming seasons. A positive spin to take in spite of the number of lower level opponents is that the schedule looks very fiscally responsible. I like the video. Though probably not an original idea, it is a nice touch to blend some old guys from the good old days with some new ones. |

5 games at The Klotsche……… no thanks. That’s disheartening to a season ticket holder. But I’m excited for the season though and can’t wait for Game 1.

Actually it looks like there are 5 games at the KC: Nov 7 vs MSOE Nov 26 vs UC Davis Nov 27 vs Boston University Nov 28 vs SEMO Feb 23 vs Purdue Fort Wayne Feb. 23 must have switched to the KC. It was (I believe) listed at UWMPA. I see so far no event listed at UWMPA. The woman play at 5pm, also vs PFW. So, it's another doubleheader. Also, didn't realize 17 home regular season games. More compared to most years. No exhibition game this year. Nov. 7th vs MSOE will be at 5pm. |

I can understand it, but I’m not thrilled with a 2:00 game on a weekday. But it probably is better for the guys on the team from out of town, so that’s probably a good thing.

That's not the reason at all this time around. The Panthers play the MTE event starting just 3 days later on that Saturday. So, the players won't be leaving. Last year on Dec 23rd, there was a solid afternoon crowd with some business people that came out to the game. The goal is trying to go to that pipeline again the day before Thanksgiving as many take off or have a half day. |

Disappointing TV schedule.
New scheduling plan: play all non-D1s as closed-door scrimmages and D-1s like South Dakota State as regulation games!
