If nothing else, itβs nice to know that the university acted in the best interest of its student athletes in letting them go home earlier and the coach isnβt forcing the team to go to some bogus Christmas Day meeting.

Hopefully this conversation leads to us playing the Badgers yearly again. I would be all for playing the Badgers yearly if the fine folks at UW-Madison agree to play some games in the series at the Panthers' home court.

I'm going to predict a modest 3-2 record for us in this upcoming road trip. Rhode Island, Detroit, and Oakland should all be winnable games. Cleveland State and PFW will be our first real HL tests. So, I was pretty good in my prediction for this road trip. 3-1 with one game cancelled is a GREAT road trip! They certainly bounced back well from the Oakland debacle.

You were way off Ty. How did you not foresee that game against URI getting cancelled?π

Not so fun facts...
The Panthers had/have a total of 14 home games this season against D1 competition at the Arena and Klotsche. 8 games were/are during the extended Thanksgiving weekend and winter break. Only 6 of the 14 are with students and all that usually comes with it - pep band, cheerleaders and dance team.

Along with the excitement brought on by the new regime, perhaps the lower supply of in-session games will further serve to increase demand among students.
