I guess it’s not a sure thing that that will be the homecoming game, but the next weekend home games will be the MTE at the Klotsche, and then after that it will be December.
We’ve heard a few times on this board that scheduling has been very hard this year. I guess this is proof of that. And I think there are still possibly two more games to be announced (based on info earlier in this thread). I’d assume they will be in mid-December. Plus, the exhibition game and the possible 11/7 double header. I have no inside info, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see another non-D1 opponent on our regular season schedule this year, especially with the two fewer conference games this year.

I agree with DTP that we'll likely have multiple non-D1 home games and I just don't care. Play ball! |

I know scheduling is hard, which from what I've been told by some D-I coaches is because of our mystery. No one knows if we're going to be 350 or 100 in KenPom, so some don't want to kill their schedule and some are worried we're gonna kill theirs. |

Putting this schedule together was certainly difficult but I want to thank Mike Winans for all of his diligent work in making it happen. My apologies to the fans who wanted the schedule sooner. As our tenure goes along, we will make sure we increase the difficulty. This schedule is beautiful for this team."

Do we know if the MSOE game is an exhibition game? It doesn’t look like it. If not, I find it strange that an exhibition game hasn’t been announced.
Obviously, three non D-1s isn’t ideal (especially since none of them are even D-2s… have we even had a D-2 opponent since the Concordia St. Paul debacle?), but it sounded like scheduling was extraordinarily hard this season. Hopefully after a year of Lundy, scheduling won’t be as hard.
