I realize that someone is paid a lot of money to do this, but I'll never understand why we're playing Green Bay on a Thursday and a Monday. Not long ago, it was the best rivalry in the league ... and maybe I just answered my own question. Milwaukee and Green Bay are now the only remaining central time outposts of an east leaning league. They are also, to be honest, moribund programs. The putrescence of both programs over the last six seasons has left the rivalry with minimal interest in Wisconsin and none outside it. If Lundy can revive the Milwaukee program maybe the league schedulers will give some respect to the game in future years, but unless Green Bay also revives or the composition of the league changes radically, don’t count on it. The past ills of the program goes back much further than just the past 6 seasons. In the 10 seasons prior to the past 6 seasons, the program had only 1 NCAA tournament appearance. In this lone tournament appearance, the team was a 15 seed. Also during these 10 seasons, the program had 3 losing seasons and compiled a record of 150-161 against division 1 opponents.

I don't know what your point is, peterpanther, and frankly I don't care.
However, no one that wins this conference in its current form will ever be more than a 15 seed. Get used to it.

Does anyone have insight as to where the Horizon League tourney semis and final will be played? HL website fairly cryptic on that.

Question : What is a MTE? the schedule doesn't look too bad (well, so far) . but i will be interested on whether Lundy can get the team to, you know, not completely fall apart after mid-January.

This has to be a joke. No way are we this incompetent to schedule homecoming against a d3 team.

We are nearing mid-September. This seems to be about the time of year the Panthers' schedule is released. Now that the homecoming date appears to be finalized, I assume we are on the verge of the official release of the full schedule.

Well during the Panther picnic on Aug. 4th, I was told they were having issues for the homecoming game. Also was said they might have to buy a game.
If homecoming game is CARDINAL STRITCH, fine. It's normally one of the bigger crowds. Has a good student turnout. Maybe they can finally win a homecoming game.
As for the schedule from Adam last week, he used the word of "soon". Last year it was out by now. So, yes, we are behind.

A win vs a d3 team is really going to get the largest crowd of the year excited and wanting more… go out spend money like a real program and get a buy a game vs a d1 team.

Hard to disagree looking thru the lense of a basketball fan. I doudt half the students would know the difference.
