You dont think high Majors like Mizzou or Kansas State might be after him? Tulsa seems like a real possibility though I would say it's highly unlikely Missouri goes after him, although it wouldn't be a shock to see Kansas State at least talk to him. Tulsa was the opening that came to mind for me.

I don't think K-State or Missouri would go after him, but if either Missouri State or Drake open up, I would assume he'd be a top candidate for either of those jobs.

On the new poster issue I’m fine with new posters. But a message board is a classic marketplace of ideas. New poster or old, if someone posts stupid sh*t, then we should never hesitate to call out the stupidity — especially if it’s also flavored with faux authority.
As to McCollum, remember that it’s extremely unlikely that he would take any job before his team’s tournament run concludes. That could be at least another week. In the meantime other dominoes may fall in the coaching ranks that create other openings. There’s still way too much in play to have any confidence about how this will play out.

We are smart enough to consider the merits of each individual comment. Forgive me, I just assume everyone is as dumb as I am

Used to know the head athletic trainer when Jeter was coach and all he would talk about was how it was "impossible" to recruit to UWM because AAU teams wouldn't even allow UWM into gyms. I thought this sounded weird enough that I texted one of Jeter's assistants. "That makes no sense." For what it's worth, the coach also said he has faith that Amanda will get the hire right. Just in case anyone was wondering if there was bad blood.

LOL. Smart people can sometimes communicate dumb opinions. We've all done it and will continue to do so. Bias and lack of perspective/complete information account for this. I agree with Fran that it's OK to point out "stupidity," especially when undisputed facts justify it. Unsupported opinions are fine also, but there are times when it would be nice to see more tolerance for opposing viewpoints.

Just in case anyone was wondering if there was bad blood. For more context, it was specifically in reference to EYBL play which we were discussing at the time. It was an absolutely absurd excuse to make, but it could also have been that he was just trying to defend RJ when the writing was on the wall that RJ was getting fired since this was winter 2016. It is what it is. If people want to dispute that conversation happening so be it, but I'm not gonna argue it. It was probably easier to make some BS excuse that I couldn't readily prove or disprove as I wasn't in attendance at alleged AAU events than to actually explain why RJ couldn't get any talent to play here and wasn't winning.
Also, the idea that I'd be some plant from AB's inner circle or some sh*t is HILARIOUS.
