Milwaukee knew exactly what eku would do and they didn’t stop neither. Knew they would press and shoot 3s and they didn’t handle the press well or run them off the line. Performance 100% on the coaches

Wonderful crowd tonight. Probably around 4,000. Excellent student turnout. That's about where the good news ends though. The game itself and the event management was atrocious. Tons of complaints from people who couldn't get in for the tipoff and those stranded in line getting halftime concessions ... and then there was the game. The rotation is frankly baffling and we had three guys who could play.

The game itself and the event management was atrocious. Tons of complaints from people who couldn't get in for the tipoff and those stranded in line getting halftime concessions ... There was many tweets and emails warning people to arrive early. Yet, I got inside at 5:25. Why couldn't people arrive for tipoff? Lines did seem long at concessions as well.

It's a sign of the times. I often see it at State Farm Stadium for Arizona Cardinal games. Tight security when entering and low labor supply/inexperience for concession workers.

Arrived at 5:30 no lines on the left. Everyone forgot the Disney Rule. Got a brat and beer no one in line, sat down as teams were coming down tunnel. As for the Game, EKU has loads of transfers with experience. They have a coach with a style that is not traditional. It will wear on that team. It did in the second half. We missed Lathon as a ball handler. Simms as a rebounder. We hit a couple more threes or get a few more free throws and it would’ve been a different game. Coach Baldwin had to use some pretty young players because of those injuries. The Panthers battled and will hopefully stay together and get healthy. Finally, EKUs coach is a nut case. Think Jon Gruden or Dick Vitale. He will get a shot at a High Major. I would rather have a coach like Baldwin. Who may never get that shot but can build this program with our support and provide exciting basketball to watch. Can’t wait for the next game.

"in what was a three-man show for UWM (1-1)."There is more to this team beyond the obvious/consistent Baldwin Jr., Gholston, Thomas trifecta. There was not however, any indication of this last night. Just look at the 0-riddled box score. Need Lathon back. Samba Kane should probably start play more, he was a force out there at times. Last night's game was entirely winnable. That makes losing it so much more frustrating. We better be ready for conference. A surprise Gator beatdown would go a long ways to re-energize everyone. Revenge for 2006.

It was ALMOST CERTAINLY this. If you want people to return in numbers, things need to greatly improve on and off the court.

It’s was good to be back in the arena last night the crowd was hyped and you could feel the energy in the air. But after the game started it was some bad basketball being played! We need to find who’s the best big man we have and stick with him JSP is not the answer Simms not either also guys the chemistry is very important and it’s not there yet but it’s early I say go with Kane or Bol as the 5 I think they have a better presence in my opinion they were not afraid of our big man last night and when EKU dunked on our big man it was over it’s was no fear for those guys for the the rest of the night. I scouted this team on Thursday they were beatable. And this is what’s going to end up happening for rest of the season teams are going to double PBJ from now on cut off the right side or put a big athletic strong 6’9 in front of him and we’re him down remember he’s only 18 he’s not strong enough to take that punishment yet. And other teams have film on our team our coaches have to make the proper adjustments for us to be successful. Florida will be a big test for us play as TEAM and move the ball and rebound and let’s get this W!!

Well we lost. I’m not overly concerned though. EKU hit a lot of contested threes in the first half, and that was the difference. This is a learning experience game. Still plenty of quadrant 1/2 opportunities on the schedule if we want to position ourselves for an at large , and playing this team should help us prepare for conference play. There will never be an "at-large" that comes from this Horizon League. Keep dreaming, Buppie.

According to Adam, 1,587 students.
Largest student crowd since 2014 vs. Wisconsin.

I gotta give props to the student on the microphone last night. He got the students to at least make some noise. I was concerned early when the student section didnt even stand for introductions. They got better as the game progressed mostly because of him and the better 2nd half play.
They might want to rethink the student vip area if the student attendance stays consistent. Get them closer to the floor.
Also, the scoreboard graphics stunk. Not a fan of the stats being on the rounded edge of the jumbotron. There has to be a better way.

Tonight will show if TonyT's concern about our ball handling is valid. This should be a track meet. We might need 25+ from PBJ to win. Turns out TonyT's concerns were extremely spot-on. And you were right, we would have needed more than 25pts from PBJ to win. :/
