Great job sh^%ting the bed tonight. Next to no chance at any bye now. Winning 4 games in a row is not likely so this was essentially the season down the tubes tonight. Instead of playing smart basketball with both of their bigs out we decided to jack up brick after brick from 3... Sounds like another offense about 80 miles west of Milwaukee. Yep. Except that's the offense of a 20-5 team on the verge of its umpteenth straight NCAA Tournament berth. Is it 52 in a row now?

Still upset about the Jay-O suspension.
Can't discipline and winning go hand-in-hand?
Buzz suspended DJO for the first half against West Virginia, played him in the second half and waltzed off the court to the strains of Country Roads.

As for the crowd tonight, sources tell me that Valpo will have in the neighborhood of 2,000 partisans on hand, so I would hope that there's well over 4,000 in attendance. Valpo had a nice showing but it was not 2,000. Paid crowd was 5,815. I thought there was more fans at the GB game and that was 4,212.

If what I am reading on this board is true then shame on Jay-O for putting his coaches and teammates in this situation.

What I'm hearing now is one game for pot possession.
The suspension was decided above the basketball level.

What I'm hearing now is one game for pot possession. The suspension was decided above the basketball level. It sounds like Coach Jeter was over ruled if the original ruling was 6. Maybe it's a message to Jeter that he's not in control?

Who said it was 6 games?

With Aaron out the next five games, this is the team we need to get used to watching. We just need to survive one game in the HL tourney to at least see him play again. But with two tough road games, I'd say we need to adjust our hopes to getting a home game instead of a bye. Maybe 5 or 6 seed? FYI.. I'm hearing the JO suspension was a result of him not passing a test. And I'm not talking about a school related test. Not sure if six games is an NCAA rule or a team issued suspension?? This was posted yesterday.

If what I am reading on this board is true then shame on Jay-O for putting his coaches and teammates in this situation. I am a Northwestern (mostly just football but also basketball) fan. If one of NU's best players were caught smoking/possessing pot would you have the same reaction? Is it "A-OK" for student athletes to consume an immensely more dangerous substance (ALCOHOL) and never here a peep from anyone, anywhere, within the program or from the NCAA? It's a sick f***'in joke. And one fine day this country will wake up and smell the coffee (which, is actually more harmful to one's health than a silly plant that makes you laugh, eat a bunch of Doritos and pass out). To say Jay-O is a "druggie" is a disservice to his service at our Uni. But "stick to yer guns"- in clear violation of NCAA rules, why don't YOU- buy Jay-O a shot of Jame-O or Gin or Cap'n Morgan next time you see him? Tell him "hey, this ain't no drug!!"... (It just kills 2,500,000 across the world- every single flipping year... Good Lord are people crazy when it comes to "Drug" policy- ALCOHOL IS A DRUG). No biggie. I'm done. Hypocrites need to get off their high horses and look in the mirror. One game at a time (and hopefully Jay-O is back as he should be). GO PANTHERS!!!!

I have noticed that the game has slowed down for Jay-O of late and that he's been playing with a palpable calmness.
They've also been playing a lot of Pink Floyd during warmups.
Weird, wild stuff.

"So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skys from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?" -Pink Floyd 1975
To say our loss last night would not have been a win or at least a close game is a flat out lie. Pot <> Alcohol/Cocaine/Heroin/Crack/Meth/Benzos, etc.
And I highly doubt Jay-O and any other members of this Milwaukee Panther Basketball team smoke ganja before games.. C'mon now, ghostofdylan. (I smoked with some of the BEST Panther Ballers back between 2001-2005 that you would never think would ever smoke ganja). Should we tear down our Sweet 16 Banner because somebody wanted to listen to Biggie, Pete Seeger or Bob Marley and get high on an off day???
Don't throw stones.... Don't throw stones........ DON'T THROW STONES. YOU LIVE IN A GLASS HOUSE. AS DO I.
Good night Panther fans... (and please, do continue to indulge yourself in the delusion that you are a perfect human being). (you are not- we all have our crucibles to pass through and conquer).

Maybe he smoked during that music in the intro video for the starting line ups.
