Really? No game preview in the J-S?
With the way the Panthers have been playing the last 10 days and the importance of the game?
By the way, I wouldn't be surprised if there were 6,000-7,000 in attendance with the large alumni base Valpo has here.
As for the game itself, I really want this one badly after the way Valpo has destroyed us the last three meetings.

Too bad it's Xavier. I'm just lost for words now, when we are talking about JS. I willing to bet you are looking at a crowd of about 4,000 at the Cell. I hope it's way more than that! I'm pumped for the day-night doubleheader for my wife and I. Panthers are a 1 point favorite. |

Michael Hunt also wrote that Marquette has had few City Conference players in its history and that Jim McIlvaine was a star for the program in the 80s. What a train wreck. As for the crowd tonight, sources tell me that Valpo will have in the neighborhood of 2,000 partisans on hand, so I would hope that there's well over 4,000 in attendance. |

Green Bay is currently beating the daylights out of Cleveland State, so likely a win will put us a game out of 2nd in the loss column.

Beating Valpo would move us into a tie for 3rd with them. GB is kicking CSU's ass (up by 22 at last check, which would drop them to 9-4 in coference. a win tonight would get us to 7-5, 1 gb in the loss cloumn. assuming we then beat YSU, the 2-22 game would likely become a playoff for the 2 seed,

Gotta get this win. Let's hope the rest helped as it did vs. UWGB (who just trounced CSU btw). We NEED this game. And every game from here on out. Let's go. Take aim- and shoot like marksmen.
