I wouldn't say "significantly better than the A10. There still is UMass, St. Joe's, La Salle. I get your point. I wouldn't go to the A10 because the travel would be a nightmare. UMas is trying to get into a football conference. UMass plays it's football in the MAC. They are having a hard time from FCS to FBS. |

Yes but two things are going to happen: 1) They're eventually going to make it happen. The same transition was tough for UConn, and they're fine now. 2) They'll probably get into the "America 12" or whatever the name is. God that's an awful name for a conference. Just be "Conference USA 2.0" and be done with it. |

C-USA2.
The old C-USA should go with C-USA3 to avoid confusion.

Hey Lakes, been a while lol I used to be on the NDSU board when we played you guys back to back years.
Good to see us still mentioned but at the moment I am not feeling super confident in us getting in.

We just took dead last in the Horizon League..... I am pretty sure the MVC will not come calling us... Lets keep dreaming.

On year's success or failure isn't going to derail a bid for a new conference. It reflects poorly, to be sure, but the MVC is in the market for a long-term addition. The much bigger problem was the move to the Klotsche Center. |

Simply, the MVC sees non-conference -- and NCAA tournament -- performance as important. Certain Horizon League schools do not.
FYI, the MVC championship game from St. Louis is played the Sunday before Selection Sunday.

Not many here are thinking this is going to happen. It's just speculation because our name has appeared a few times in the news. I have said on a couple of occasions that I don't expect this at all but I will be ecstatic if it does indeed occur in the future. Last time I checked forums are meant for discussing. That means anything from game performances to random speculation. |
