Are we really ready to join to Missouri Valley?
The competition -- Wichita State, Northern Iowa, Indiana State, Illinois State -- is only going to get tougher.

This is something we SHOULD do, and it SHOULD be in conjunction with the announcement that we're going back downtown.
If anything, we'll see what Braun is made of if she's presented with an invite to the MVC. I've lost so much faith in this university to do the right thing though, that I doubt they'd have the stones to make the move.

I wonder what kind of arena requirements the MVC has?

This is already being discussed in the HL Expansion thread and USA Today has an article stating we're not in the top 4.

Our 9-win season didn't help our case.

Our 9-win season didn't help our case. How much does the 8-win season hurt it then?

Utah so far has been a Pac-12 bottom feeder. Colorado is atrocious in football and Mizzou has had a rough start as well in the SEC. Rutgers & Maryland will arguably be bottom feeders when they join the B1G. WVU hasn't fared well yet in the B12 either. It'll take a few years for us to get up to par but its not like we'd be YSU bad.

Plus its not like we will be winning the HL next year or anything...(Although I can hope! )

Green Bay is a better candidate than Milwaukee.
Green Bay has superior facilities, a more recognizable brand, a solid fan base, and has less of a perception of being an also-ran commuter school such as Wisconsin-Milwaukee, UW-Milwaukee, Wisc.-Milw., etc.
These are other programs sorted by conference affiliation that many from outside of the UWM bubble would consider more valuable as it pertains to the MVC.
Horizon League Cleveland State Detroit Green Bay Loyola Valpo UIC
Ohio Valley Belmont Murray State
Summit League Denver
Southland Oral Roberts

Which market is more appealing to the MVC? Green Bay or Milwaukee.

Its not always about markets though.
