Costello made $201,000. Reinfeldt probably makes $2,000,000 or so.

When are the people involved with the hiring of the last two people (of which I assume most are the same) going to be held accountable?

You're right, fire the chancellor! And then run Black Panther out of Milwaukee!
<insert heavy sarcasm>
Everyone has the solution because they read and watch a lot of sports.

Only UWM97, YUHADEN, and BBfran all "reserved judgement" and said "wait and see" when Costello was first hired. They win.

I only think that anyone involved in the hiring process of the last two should not be involved in hiring the third.

The last one would be the chancellor. He's the final say.

I'm very sad to see Rick go. From the times I talked to Rick and his wife, I was proud that they came to Milwaukee. I was on board the first time I saw him speak, when he was on the Dennis Krause Show. I agree. I love UWM. Its been difficult to watch all of this unfold. I hope for better days.

Say what you want about Chuck Lang, but when he left, a lot of our problems showed up.
I'm not sure why he would be interested in the position here, but we certainly could do a lot worse.

Since this is a basketball board: That's kind of like leaning on the +/- to tell you about a player. Maybe it's more about the other four guys on the court. Personally, I think it's more about Bud's departure than Chuck's. Or, rather, that the penny-pinching towards athletics in that day meant that there was no immediate replacement for Chuck Lang's position, like there was for Deanna D'Abbraccio (Kathy Litzau was promoted rather quickly). Instead of hiring a replacement for Chuck, they let his position go unfilled from his departure in 2007 until Charlie Gross was hired in January 2010.
