Detroit at Valpo for all the marbles it is.

Refreshing to see a Horizon team play with confidence (and without their tails between their legs) against Butler in March. It's almost as if Valpo believes that it has a chance to win. Tends to happen when you run a semblance of an offense.

Will the Horizon League get five postseason entrants for the first time?

Very surprised that Valpo handled Butler that easily. And it looks like Detroit is playing to expectations at exactly the right time. Should be a hell of a game for the title.

I'm pulling for Valpo. Their fans come off as much more passionate. I haven't made it out to Calihan (though I want to at some point) but I watch lots of games on HLN, and they just don't seem as into it. Either way, with Detroit running on all cylinders and Van Wijk back for Valpo, the Horizon representative will again make some serious noise in the big dance.

Also surprised butler went down so easily. I have no idea who I want to win in tuesday Why? Vaplo had beat them twice already, and just handled them easily a week ago. Butler struggled to beat Loyola at home last week.

I am pulling for Detroit in this game, Valpo just never impresses me when I watch them. Valpo is good, just not great. Detroit is hot at the right time. Butler was good this year, but after two amazing years they were a bit down this year. I think either team will represent the league well though.

Butler struggled to beat Loyola at home last week. So did Valpo.

I've watched about 1 minute in the second half of the Detroit-Valpo game and can't stand Ray Jr.'s antics. Just play and stop posturing for the camera and the crowd. You are making me want VU to win.

Uh oh. Detroit fans chanting "bullsh*t." Valpo Standards & Practices about to lay the hammer down. They don't control the event tonight since it's a "neutral" event run by the league. ;D

I hope the building is structurally sound b/c Valpo's imploding like none other.
