I'll let the rest of you argue about how important the game is. I just want to see us get better. We played hard but not always well against Butler. Let's play hard and play better against WMU. I couldn't agree more, Fran. Ideally we'd close the first half with a 10-15 point lead and give players like Evan and Shaq extended minutes in the second half. But I'll be happy with a solid performance marked with consistent offense and our signature beleaguering defense. Lets get another one in the W column Milwaukee 62 WMU 52 WAR PANTHERS!!!!!!! |

There is no way we're sitting anyone for "rest". Starters won't take the game off 'till it's well in hand. This team is not like Nebraska-Omaha and we all know they beat us last year. Kaylon, Tony, and Ryan included. I'm sure they are looking for some payback. Besides, this is not MLB or the NFL and they just had a week off for Christmas break. These are 18 to 22 year old young men. If any of them need rest after playing only 15 games. Wow. My thoughts exactly. What is wrong with you guys? They've played 3 games in two weeks. Rest, heh, the only person on the team who needs a rest is Paris Gulley. He is a pain to watch. It is becoming clear that the DePaul game was his high-water mark. |

The firstrow link for the game didn't work, then disappeared. Looks like no video tonight. Of course, that's a blessing for the last ten minutes. At last sound we had missed 11 straight shots.

Ahhh. Not TV... Dang. At least we have a great radio team in Bill and Kevin. Slow start to the 2nd, but we can rebound.... (pun intended or not). Let's just get W #11- any, way shape or form.
Make shots- and we can still win (even comfortably). WMU is literally in danger of fouling out 3-4 players if the whistles continue to sound..

Sounded like we got back into it when we started trapping.
Really wish we would have turned up the pace thru this entire game. Trap or press thru the entire thing. They only have 9 guys.

Wow... certainly not the kind of performance I expected from the guys tonight. Clearly we have a lot to work on if we have any chance of winning the HL this year. We shouldn't be losing to a team like WMU. It is what it is though. Gotta forget this one and beat Green Bay on Saturday.

Mark this one down as the team's first BAD loss. Hard to be optimistic when the team plays so poorly against a short-handed, mediocre WMU.
Same old same old plays out --- terrible shooting, missed free throws, too many turnovers... The difference in this one is the surprisingly poor defense played. Very disappointing effort.

Completely pathetic.
We better not play like this again this year or we can forget about winning the HL.
Hopefully Jeter will have these guys fired up for Green Bay and put this awful display behind them.
