What's this?.....The Magicmans crystal ball shows robert making $900,000 coaching in front of 4000 fans per game. Wow, thats cool. It's like magic! Poof......He's gone.

The fact of the matter remains that it's a difficult job; the fans don't want him, yet for the most part don't show up for the games. Initial fan reaction is the absolute dumbest way to conduct business. Mizzou couldn't have cared less when they hired Haith and fan reaction was less than positive when Auburn hired Gene Chizik. Like all fans, they want a winner and if Jeter wins, they'll come around.

From Lance Allen, Jeter talked with the new Miami AD, Shawn Eichorst. The meeting was set-up by Bo Ryan. Jeter is now on vacation and will be in Miami on Wednesday with Eichorst.

For pity's sake, Bo Ryan is not acting as Rob Jeter's agent.
Who the hell is Lance Allan?

Mike Dunlap. If he's not an option, then magicman.

Mike Dunlap. If he's not an option, then magicman. I'm on the Majak Man bandwagon, if he's finally used up all his eligibility at Loyola, that is.

magicman is Jeter's mom. She's the only one that calls him Robert.

magicman is Jeter's mom. She's the only one that calls him Robert. Not necessarily true. I hear Ja'Rob calls him Robert Jeter III.

Ja'Rob may be calling him former coach sooner than later. Did Ja'Rob declare for the draft?

It could just be me but the longer this drags out the less legs I think it has. These things tend to move fast once it becomes news so neither party looks bad. This has been out for a while now and it seems to not be gaining steam. Then again since there has been no mention in the JS so maybe there is something to this.
Since I am not close to the program like I use to I am looking for some input. Is staying in house in Jeter were to leave a viable option and if so would it increase the chances of keeping the recuruites and roster in place?
