Much talk around campus about Rob Jeter becoming the new head coach at Bradley University real soon.

I had heard rumblings of that but I didn't think much of them.
I would hope that it won't happen but we will see how things play out.
My only question would be why would Rob leave?
Moving to Bradley is a lateral move at best. Both are decent programs with a sweet 16 and some other success.

Count me among those who don't believe it.

There are 10 candidates listed on that site. Safe to say if there are 10 candidates Bradley hasn't really thought about it all that hard.

I agree Super King. I am sure Bradley has talked with him and the rest of the names listed, but that doesn't mean anything until that list is down to two or three.
Definitely a lateral move with recent success, but the fan attendance and school support at Bradley doesn't even compare.

He also probably won't pull the salary he does right now, unless Bradley administrators are drooling morons.

I'd say more than a lateral move. A Bradley team that went 12-20 had an average season attendance probably twice what Milwaukee had. They had MVC season sellouts. For any given MVC conference game you are playing in front of 7500 to 10000 people instead of 3000 to 4000. Bradley is the only game in town. Plus in a good year the MVC is more likely to get multiple NCAA tourney bids. Who outside of Butler has received an at large bid to the NCAA tourney in the past decade?

That sports madison website is a good one for news on Rob huh? Maybe I'll go grab the national enquirer to get the latest on the Libya conflict.
I wish Bradley luck in their search. I have tremendous respect for the program and I hope someone like Keno Davis can get that program back to respectability. Bradley Doesn't have the Bankroll to buy out a currently employed coach, so expect Capel and Keno Davis to be at the top of their wish list.

No one, but it's not because the Horizon League is incapable. It's because some programs schedule crappy (Cleveland State) and some schools don't take the non-conference season seriously (Milwaukee).

Relax. Your point? The articles just lists people being considered in the initial search. Doesn't say they are hiring him.
