I think there might be less Butler fans on Tuesday night. Many went home today.
I forget which year 2003 or 2006. I remember less Butler fans here for the finals than the semi-finals.

How about in 2006 when everyone in the student section kneeled down and there was a furry student in speedo's when a Loyola player was shooting free throws....and I think he missed. That will make Sports Center.

How about in 2006 when everyone in the student section kneeled down and there was a furry student standing up in speedos when a Loyola player was shooting free throws....and I think he missed both. That will make Sports Center.

That will make Sports Center. That was pink and black women's lingerie. Not speedo's. All photographic evidence of the event has been destroyed.

I guessed that a poor student section and poor marketing would cost us the chance to push the capacity over 7,200. Glad I was once again proved wrong. The Mecca would be a very dangerous place for ANY team provided we draw like that consistently.
I don't doubt a sellout on tuesday

So far the attendance has held true to historical standards --- with 7,431 last night, that puts us right in "typical" territory for our four previous Milwaukee-based tournaments. Hopefully that means a sellout is in order for Tuesday.
But nobody should be complacent. Relentlessly market this game to everyone/anyone that will listen to you.
Amazing student turnout last night, but we can pack another 800 to 1,000 in there. So let's get it done. And keep with the yellow shirts, they looked awesome.

And keep with the yellow shirts, they looked awesome. I'd like to see the team break out the gold jerseys for the game, just like it did for its breakthrough championship in 2003.
