For the beer lovers out there, they were selling beer at the Cell on Friday night! i heard that...and then the concessions people were saying things like "why does everyone think we cant sell beer here???" They likely weren't working there back in 2006. |

I hope that one Valpo fan d-bag isn't sitting a few rows behind SRT & Jimmy like he was for the home game although Jimmy calling him out on his 1985 hairdo was pretty damn funny.

Almost forgot about him, holic. He kept on standing up even though the entire section told him to sit down. There will be a good amount of Valpo fans there. But hopefully they will be drowned out by a sea of black and gold.

Pleased with the overall attendance, Very proud of our students. I don't think we filled it for a semi in the Pearl years. There was the one covered section still there, but that student section is my new wallpaper on my phone. So so proud of them after single digit turnouts earlier this year. Let's jam that b-tch to capacity Tuesday!!

Yes I'm aware of that but those teams were much more known because of how great they played in and out of conference. I mean were entering our championship game and we don't even have 20 wins yet. back then we were mid twenties and the overwhelming favorite. I would love 10,000 and think its very possible but I think 9,000 should be there at the very least. By the way does anyone think we'll be favored Tuesday? I mean we beat Butler twice, are at home, and won the conference but I have a feeling the spread will favor Butler slightly. Regardless we just have to take care of our own business and once again go DANCING!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Tonight's crowd was in the ballpark as in 2003 and 2006. Why not over 10,000. Plus, you are playing Butler, the National runner-up's!

Like I said, Butler's fans will push the attendance up toward 10,000. They had at least 1,000 people with them tonight. That number will probably increase. I'd say we pull around 8,500-9,000 Panther fans and Butler brings in 1,500-or-so themselves.

I'll be absolutely shocked if we're favored, even considering all the things you mention. It just seems that everyone that's not a Milwaukee fan has a big affection for Butler. If I were Coach Jeter, I'd be pushing the disrespect card very, very hard over the next couple of days.
Butler does scare me though...beating a team three times in a season is never easy. Here's to hoping we can get the flopper in foul trouble early.

The student crowd was for sure the best in years! Even the ESPN boys were impressed...The Cell will be rockin' Milwaukee on Tuesday...and I am so glad to be there!!!
