That doesn't really matter. The Bucks aren't a casual draw anymore anyway. It sure as hell does matter. If someone is looking for something to do Saturday, they're going to find that there isn't a Bucks game going on ... as sh*tty as they may be playing or not. +1. The Bucks will always be competing for casual fans. Look at the attendance for last night (A Tuesday night versus the Pistons- who suck and have NO drawing power whatsoever): 11,364 Now, play that game on a Saturday, and I'll bet the number is 15,000 at least. Don't kid yourself, Super King - the bucks do siphon away the casual fan.

Hard to believe attendance was that high. That place looked and sounded empty on TV.

My guess is 6,800. Not quite to the levels of our past tournament hosting, but still solid. If we go to the championship, then I think 9,000-10,500.

I have a feeling there will be alot of Butler fans. Valpo will bring many as well. In terms of numbers, hard to say.

I think those guessing 7,200 ish are likely on the spot. I think it will be that high thanks to no bucks game and a fair amount of pub. I doubt there will be enough done by the university ect. to get students pumped up for it to keep it from going over 8k. Those students that do come are still loud and affect the game in our favor.

Media at the Bucks game last night said on Twitter that 11k was a joke, more like 6-7k.
That said, my guess would be around 6.5-7k. Not as much as in past tournaments (because of the initial WOW factor, and consistent winning thereafter), but still quite a lot. I'm hearing more about the Panthers on 540 (as long as it's not Homer), and WSSP actually interviewed Jeter the other morning. The increased JS coverage is more important, and if we have a couple more articles before Saturday, I think we'll have a nice crowd.

On the facebook event right now of which the majority are students there are almost 800 "attending" and 450 "maybes" if you are wondering about student attendance.

There are posters EVERYWHERE on campus. I mean the union is just plastered with ads for the tournament.
