Yes, fire Rob Jeter NOW. Yeah Duck man, we should all start eating crow now that we beat Butler I'll wait until we are at least a winning team and playing with consistency before I have one bite of any sort of crow. I'm not saying beating Butler wasn't a big win for Jeter and the team...IT WAS HUGE. But lets keep in mind that a week earlier the team was blown out by an average Wright St. team, and that we have been known to show up and play well for individual games in the past. If you judged Jeter based on the start of his tenure until immediately after the Butler game, I still don't see justifying his performance as acceptable. That being said, I appreciate you Duck and others who offer a different and more positive outlook on Jeter's future, and hope to god I have a heaping helping of crow to dive into at seasons end. ;D

Yes, fire Rob Jeter NOW. So the team shoots the lights out and everything is fixed because Kaylon hit a prayer at Detroit?!

The best solution has always been and will continue to be evaluating where we are after the season ends.

I'm thrilled about this supposed turnaround, but I'm not yet convinced. Ask me at the end of the season.

I posted this after the Western Michigan game ... This team is going to have its stellar performances like Niagara and its clunkers like tonight. It's been the M.O. of this program for the last 3-4 years ... so I'm not going to say the season is at a loss or that they won't recover from this. ... and I'm standing by it. Inconsistency has really been the only consistency. You can't get too down on the lows, and can't get too high on the highs.

I really wish a mod would lock this thread so we can strike its existence from the record.

I was vocally supporting Jeter and telling everyone to be patient during this whole fiasco. Rubbing this sh*t in everyone's face is just a division of the fanbase that we don't want or need. We should move on.

I'll be the first to admit I was starting to tire of the way this team was showing drastic inconsistencies early on in the season each and every year under Coach Jeter's tenure. Coach Jeter and the players put it together, believed in themselves and pulled off their goal of winning the Horizon League regular season champ. That is to be commended, and I would also offer my congrats to not only the coaches and players, but the fans that are able and willing to attend each game. Much has been said about attendance, but for us out-of-towners we applaud those that show up each and every game as we would if we could.
Congrats coaching staff, players, and fans. It's very freaking nice to see the Horizon tournament back in Milwaukee!

As I stated in my post on this thread in December, you have to wait until the end of the season to evaluate a coach. So, as I write this, we are back in the HL championship. Pretty fair to say, Rob Jeter is a good coach. Did this with his players too. I know we have passionate fans, but you also have to be patient sometimes, and give coaches time to work out their issues.

It would be great Tuesday if we could get more than a handful of people on their feet when the Horizon League Coach of the Year is introduced.
The guy's gone from 6 conference wins to 9 to consecutive 12-win seasons to 14 ... and counting. That's an upward arc in anybody's book.
As of this moment, we're better off than 261 programs in the country. Rob deserves our praise.
