Souter looked nice again. Not "impressive" or some other superlative, but he had a good game. I think the more game action he gets the more he can surprise us, like Haggerty did last year. It's worth giving him minutes, especially in the nonconference schedule, which is at this point irrelevant.

Maybe Wisconsin is just that good.

Maybe Wisconsin is just that good. That definitely could be the case with Portland, CSU and Wisconsin, although we still shouldn't lose to a conference rival by that much ever (although even Bruce took his lumps at Butler, it was AT Butler). But not the other losses.

Those three teams and Butler are clearly the class of our schedule. Agree that you can't lose at home like that to anyone. Let's hope the guys keep their confidence at DePaul and come home feeling good about themselves.

Second-to-last game of the year: at Cleveland State. We should be on a roll by that point and that game will be intense.

Marquette may still scratch out enough BE wins to have a bubble argument, but they clearly aren't in the same class as CSU, Butler or Wisconsin. I only saw Portland against Kentucky, when they didn't look good, but they have been very solid otherwise.

Yeah, because playing Duke to the wire doesn't put you in the same class as Wisconsin.

Many of you really think CSU is that good?

Yeah, because playing Duke to the wire doesn't put you in the same class as Wisconsin. Wisconsin beat Duke. Duke beat Marquette. Wisconsin beat Marquette at home. Yeah, I'd say Wisconsin is better. I think those two and CSU are all NCAA-worthy at this point. End of the season, who knows.

I'm sorry, is it the 2009-10 season all over again? The season in which Wisconsin beat Duke?
