Just got back.......ouch. Personally, Boyle and Hill were major dissapointments. Don't know what's going on, but if this keeps up I see no point in playing them.
I would go with Boga, McCallum, Meier, Kelm and I thought Allen played well, if anything he brings some heart to the team. This Badger team is not better than last years team. Pathetic to say the least.

Two games ago Hill scored 30 and 12. Of course you play him. Boyle oddly enough just hasn't been taking shots: 6 attempts vs UW, 5 attempts vs CSU. Hard to get in a rhythm when you're not shooting the ball.

Once again we are at the bottom of the pickle barrell. Doesn't surprise me with Boyle shooting an astounding 38% and Williams following with his 32%. And not to mention our record breaking 58% from the charity stripe. Boyle and Williams should not be starting. They might be good 7-8 men, relieving minutes. I see another 20 point loss on the horizon against South Dakota. The staff hasn't proven over the last 5 yrs they can recruit and what they do recruit are grossly over-rated or head cases. I say the whole staff should be put out to roost. Lets start over and get back to having fun rather than having knitting needles shoved in our eyes....

Saying that we don't have good players or a talented team just isn't correct. When Ant is used properly he is effective, and the same goes for most of the other guys. The thing with Rob is, he may have one of our best players sitting on the pine in warmups, and we'd never know. And whatever made him think red-shirting the leading scorer from Italy was a good idea sounds like some potent stuff.

Bidlingmyer - $74,000 Boudreau - $68,000 Conroy - $63,000 McKenzie - $31,000 Jones - $33,000
Or something very close to those figures.

This game again was hard to watch. Something needs to change.

What a god awful game. What was up with the rotation? Jeter shows once again he is a terrible in-game coach incapable of make adjustments.
Why didn't Hags and Big Mitch play? One would figure you could at least use Mitch to screen and run McCallum off him but I guess Jeter felt the weave at the top of the key and letting his players who can't create their own shot try to create their own shot was the game plan.

Here's a random observation from an outsider (hope I'm not rubbing salt in the wound ... just offering an opinion). Teams usually have two guys who are the leaders and set the tone ... the coach and the point guard. What I've seen so far is a point guard who would rather look cool than play hard and a coach who has let him do it. When the point guard doesn't play hard and with discipline, it's very easy for the rest of the team to follow, IMO.
This may have happened before, but it appeared that last night Jeter had finally had enough. He wasn't happy with something early in the second half and may have been trying to send a message with a quick hook.

Eddie I completely agree and I just said pretty much the same thing on the Fire Rob thread. The only difference is I didn't say PG needs to be the leader they just need to find one.

I like how Jeter pulled K.Williams after the bad pass to start the 2nd half.

Here's what I was thinking as a 6-5 lead painfully bled to an 18-6 deficit:
Where's Chuck Barris when you need him?
