I'm looking forward to getting my first glimpse of what sounds like an exciting, talented team and what should be a successful season. Also, I'm excited to step foot in the Klotsche for the first time since probably my Junior year back in 2006!
Can't wait to pick up my season tickets too. Gonna be a fun night. Since I have the day off, I might even include a little bit of pre-game drinking at the Gasthaus for old times sake. Man, I miss college...

Why is it this season, both exhibition games are not on the radio? 1130WISN

Fire up Milwaukee! Let's have a blow out in an exhibition game. We don't want MSOEfreak to show up after the game.

I doubt we blow them out. That's not Jeter's style.
We will play everyone at least 10 to 15 minutes and win by 15 or so.

Man, even if we play every single player on the team for an even 15 minutes, we should still win by at least 25.

Hold a comfortable lead throughout and finish the game with Patrick Souter, Mitch Roelke, Christian Wolf, Kyle Kelm (I hear Quinton Gustavson is out) and Ryan Haggerty on the floor.
Our (apparent) quality depth and the experience of this summer should get us at least a 20-point victory.

Butler beat Florida Southern today 90-70 with a starting lineup of Nored, Mack, Vanzant, Howard and Smith.

70 points seems like a bit much, no? Although it is the first game.

9 players played double digit minutes for Butler, 14 played 4 or more. In short, the Bulldogs were getting everyone out there, running through plays. Getting the new kids some experience and the returning players back on the same page. Coach Jeter should do the same, and will based on previous year's exhibitions. Success in an exhibition isn't the same as a season game.

1) The funny thing about these games is that the DII teams play them as real games- the DI team plays them as a scrimmage and rotate their players in and out.
2) That being said, I am surprised that Florida Southern even had several leads against Butler.

Florida Southern went 25-5 a year ago, is the No. 5-ranked team in Division 2 and returns four of five starters.

Florida Southern went 25-5 a year ago, is the No. 5-ranked team in Division 2 and returns four of five starters. And they were missing their leading scorer from a year ago (15.3 PPG) who sat with a foot injury...
