I'd love to see the Panthers beat Depaul.

RPI's of non-conference opponents:
150 - Western Michigan 50 - Marquette 21 - Wisconsin 134 - Niagara 79 - Portland 218 - Florida Atlantic 244 - UC Davis 17 - UNI 189 - Bowling Green
Wow. Our two bad games are in the tournament at Portland. Every other game is top-200, and we have 4 games against teams that were top 100 last year, two of which are home games. NICE

Three games against teams that were in the top 50 a year ago, five (out of 30) if you include our two league games against Butler.
One thing to add: DePaul (8-23, 1-18) had an RPI of 212 last season.

Is DU, your way of saying DePaul? DU = DePaul University... I never saw that, not saying it's not. It's not like OU= Oklahoma or UW=Washington or UF=Florida or SU=Syracuse

Absolutely pathetic that Marquette is the one to announce this information before UWM.

Absolutely pathetic that Marquette is the one to announce this information before UWM. High majors always announce their schedules first. Madison announced theirs a few weeks ago.

Doesn't matter. No need to announce the entire schedule at once.
This is UWM's news (hosting its crosstown rival for the first time in a very, very long time). UWM should be putting that out there.
Especially, UWM could put the news of that game out there and get people to start thinking about basketball. Put that bug in their ear ... and then they start thinking about tickets.
Instead, the schedule will be announced in late September, beginning a one-month push to the general public about buying tickets and game packages ... like always.
Wash, rinse, repeat.

If UWM has their schedule done, they should put it out. I don't like waiting around Labor Day time for the basketball schedule to come out. Come out with it in August before football starts!!

The problem is that nobody cares about basketball this time of year. UWM is releasing the schedule at a time when anticipation for the college basketball season is hot, not in the middle of baseball weather.
