The problem is that nobody cares about basketball this time of year. UWM is releasing the schedule at a time when anticipation for the college basketball season is hot, not in the middle of baseball weather. Loser's mentality...

Sigh. Reading comphrension continues to be a weakness of this board.
Again, this has nothing to do with releasing the entire schedule at once. I know there are plenty of other things to be ironed out with that.
I'm talking about just throwing a mention on the website that the date for the BIG home game that they'll be using to SELL season tickets and five-packets has been finalized.
Almost 600 followers on Twitter. Tweet it!
Almost 5,000 fans on Facebook. Put a status update on Facebook!
Short story on the website that's sorely lacking for any news in the summer. Do something to keep people buzzed about UWM basketball.
Doesn't take much effort at all.

We got you Hack, I can read just fine thank you! I'm saying, if UWM has dates done, put it out.
I'm the one on here wanting to get the iron hot!!

I'm trying to guess on the home dates for this season.
The Panthers are in Portland Nov.12-14 and are at Niagara the 17th. So my guess would be the home opener would be Nov. 20 versus Northern Iowa or Bowling Green. Someone on here said the Western Michigan game is before Thanksgiving. The MU game is Nov.27. So the last non-league home game would be in December.
Does this sound right?

That should be correct.
Coach Jeter mentioned yesterday that our two H League games in December will be home games. That's good news considering all the tough road non-con games.
All in all this i really an outstanding schedule. We play a lot of good teams in the non-con, which should prepare us for the H League teams -- Butler, Detroit, CSU -- that are or have a chance to be better than any team on our non-con schedule.

It really is a great schedule... the other thing that really makes me optimistic is the Italy trip which affords chance to see some combinations, guys in actions, have the team bond... really gives us a leg up on the other teams in the conference in this regard. Really think it is going to be a dog fight (pardon the pun with Butler) between them, Detroit and us this year. On another note as a long time season ticket holder alum frankly I have no problem with the incentive for first time alum season ticket holders. No problem at all with that if it can get more fannies in the seats and build our season ticket base. Lifts all boats!!!

That would be Dec. 2 & 4. Thank god, the Panthers have those as home games otherwise they would have been looking at one game at home in the month of December and seven on the road.

Would have, Panther. Or would've.
Steve:
Don't forget Cleveland State. The Vikings return their entire team intact, including first-team all-league point guard Norris Cole, and the Horizon's No. 5-ranked recruiting class in Devon Long and Ludovic Ndaye. Waters built this team for a quick turnaround from 2008-09.

I misplaced my schedule, can someone from the outing yesterday put it out?
I'm assuming the only reason Kevin hasn't put it out is because of the lack of exhibition games as of yet.

Donors got the full schedule, sans exhibition games, yesterday. I misplaced my copy, otherwise PantherU would have it already.
Might have it later tonight.

I never noticed the schedule there. Shouldn't have spent so much time talking to Jimmy.

I think I said "August" and "I don't know what I'm doing yet" about 3,000 times yesterday.
