By my count they are 2 more games left to be scheduled. The NCAA allows 28 games in the regular season and 2 exhibition games. The Tournament in Portland is exempt and only counts as 1 game. correct- I should of said 2 to 3 games with them on the road or maybe one of them at home.

One of those road slots just might be filled with a nice opportunity for an easy road trip against a high major opponent.

Well we got Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa State, Depaul, and Illinois are the close and could be considered easy road trips. Although some of those teams don't qualify as high major.

Good point, but their leagues do so I'm being generous.

I would say there might be a few former NBA stars in attendance, including one with local connections.

I can only say that the game will be on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at a very familiar venue.

My guess would be DePaul, just by reading that Loyola is playing DePaul and you said that DePaul is playing 5 HL school. Would this be a home/home?

If in fact the opponent is DePaul, as you suggest, I would say a home-and-home series is a reasonable deduction given the terms Loyola received from the Blue Demons.

Can DePaul really still be considered a High Major? Bobby Simmons will be in attendance? Is George Miken still alive?
Every forward in the country should practice the Miken Drill religiously. Post moves get buffed to a shine and you'll never have to worry about missing bunny shots..
That all being said... it sounds a lot more to me like they are talking about Illinois-Champaign. Though that isn't exactly a familiar venue, so I dunno.... Wait- are we talking about the Rosemont Horizon (now Allstate Arena) like 2005??? LOL.
It will be interesting to see who among "high-majors" may be added to the road schedule. Any would be an awesome surprise. I personally would love to see them play Northwestern for personal reasons (big Wildcat football fan here).. I guess we shall see in due time.

Still remember doing that drill growing up. Reading between the lines of what Fran said about being generous because of their leagues I know its not Illinois. I guess that leaves Iowa, Iowa State and Depaul. From the talk around here I am guessing Depaul.

We also do not need to play the Niagara game, but we will anyway. Go Packers!

I'd rather play Niagra than Hillsdale during the regular season.
