I'm saying ESPN can go take those scouts from Rivals and Scout because they can pay better than both, thus doing a better job.

There are many who would argue that the scouts that work for Rivals and Scout aren't worth the salary that both of those services are paying them. Anyways I'm done arguing this point because it has nothing to do with the UWM 2010 recruiting class.

ESPN's director of recruiting is none other than former WSU coach Paul Biancardi...
Paul Biancardi, who spent 2007-08 as an assistant coach on Rick Majerus' staff at Saint Louis University, is the national recruiting director for ESPN Scouts Inc. He has 18 years of coaching experience at the Division I level. He was an assistant at Boston University, Boston College and Ohio State before becoming the head coach at Wright State, where he earned Horizon League coach of the year honors in the 2003-04 season

Larry Bradley (I think he's 2010) is the nephew of Marshall Williams, the guy who played with James Wright at Vincent.
Go figure.

It seems to me that the "dream class" would include the following:
Calvin Godfrey Marquis Mason Josh Gasser Chip Rank Flavien Davis Kyle Kelm (which I don't think will happen)

Howard went to Butler over IU and thats looking like a pretty good decision on his part right now. We are starting to look like a good club, and maybe he will come see the team beat up on some burning birds friday.

You think they will all be from WI? I doubt that...and hope not.

Kelm already has high major offers, including Big Ten offers, Gasser is about to get them and the Badger football program will make a heavy push for Marquis Mason, so in all honesty it would be a real upset to get any of those kids, unfortunately. I don't know whether we're recruiting Davis. Besides Rank, there's a big kid outside Chicago we'd really like too, but he's blowing up and attracting interest from big name schools. Our guys are working their tails off recruiting, but in a sense they're too good at identifying talented young kids. We're identifying these kids and offering them early, but they are turning out to be so good that by the time they decide we're competing with big programs.
It's the curse of being a "mid-major." Nothing we can do about it but keep working and keep winning to make Milwaukee an attractive option. It also shows why Juco recruits and transfers will almost always be part of the strategy.

I hope are pool is larger than just WI. Besides, the really good WI players tend to go the UW if they are staying in the state.

Our pool is definitely more than Wisconsin, raar. Take a look at the roster, not just a bunch of WI's on it.
Godfrey was here for the Valpo game. Parkerj and I stopped and talked to him for a couple minutes. Good kid. My favorite line was "Good to see my future school play". If he was acting, he was doing a good job of it. He's doing much better in his classes, I figure he gets a much better education, a lot more one-on-one learning than he did at Custer.

Nice, that's an encouraging anecdote Jimmy.
Regarding the other recruits: if there's anybody drawing any D-1 interest from this state, you might as well pencil in Iowa St. as a school involved.
