Just curious who #1, #2, and #3 is? I've been asked to keep this information private, but I promise I will let you know when these players commit - be it with us or another program.

Louis, were Haarsma or Ryan Allen 1, 2 or 3 now that we have acquired them?

Haarsma was one of them. I'm not sure about Ryan Allen.

I really like the addition of Haarsma, that kid can play. Kinda shocked by Allen because I thought we were going after wings or another PG, but if his athleticism is as reported i think he could guard bigger Wings. It seems with the addition of Allen that we are sticking with the 3 guard rotation.

Well their is 5 days left in the late signing period. Right now we are at 13 assuming Haarsma recieves the last schollie (that is with Haggerty paying his own way this year). I would think if we recieve a couple more commitments it would indicate that somebody is probably leaving or never enrolling that hasn't already annouced it.

I strongly suspect that Ryan will be on scholarship this year. I think the last shoe that needs to drop from a roster standpoint is to determine whether double L will be here. I'm assuming not.
With or without him the coaches have done another terrific recruiting job this year.

If they do and Leek qualifies, then we have a dilemma obviously. If they don't and Leek doesn't qualify, we can just have Ryan take his scholarship. We haven't heard anything definitive about Deonte, but I'm thinking we're still going to sign one more here...hopefully an athletic forward. Love the roster for 2010-11 and 2011-12 (though it definitely will change between now and then)...

Are we gonna get a new scholarship table?

The scholarship table should be up to date. I don't want to change Deonte or Leek until we hear something more definitive... Is that what you're referring to?

Terrific article. I was just thinking that with the trip to Italy happening in 80 days, this will be by far the smallest gap in local media coverage in the history of the men's basketball program.
Also, it should be noted that Kyle Kelm and Evan Richard (and to an extent Christian Wolf and Mitchell Carter) are part of this class. That's a good group of newcomers that will be traveling to Milan, Venice, Florence, Naples and Rome.
