Transfers do not need to sign letters of intent though.

I would say Bradley and LaSalle are some stiff competition, but I kind of like our chances.

It looks like McDermott just left ISU to go to Creighton. Wonder where that leaves Godfrey and the other Milwaukee area kids at ISU.

It leaves the Iowa State program as a cesspool in serious need of reform.
I would think Diante Garrett and Scott Christopherson will stay and finish out their playing careers. As for Antwon Oliver, Calvin Godfrey and DeMarcus Phillips, who in the world knows?

Sounds like Norvell Arnold is on his way to Detroit. I believe he will start at small forward for the Titans.

Didn't they just hire an assistant...like...Friday?
I'm now seriously annoyed that Godfrey spurned us to join ISU. That's a program that I'm pretty sure would finish in the bottom 3 of the Horizon League.

Careful now, BP. Did Godfrey spurn us or was it the other way around?
And yes, the Cyclones would finish in the bottom three of the H League without Craig Brackins and Marquis Gilstrap.

If he does go to Detroit I kinda hope we focus on transfers. Right now their seems to be a few kids that can play and would fit in nicely. Also I wouldn't mind the transfers because they can't play next year. Currently with the players we got we have enough depth to field a good team. The last couple years we played our best ball when we finally stuck to a rotation and maybe having fewer options will help us identify a rotation sooner. I know it is flawed logic to bring in kids who can't play immediately but at this point I really like our roster.

I agree uwmplanner, but it would have been nice to get ALL of them. Obviously, I'm aware that would have been difficult, but I believe that was the goal. I'm hoping the staff has another trick up their sleeve or two in addition to adding a transfer or 3...

As I mentioned on an alternate thread, Demarcus Phillips should get away from that black hole before it envelopes him. I would love to have him on the team, and I think he would definitely get the nod as the starting 3.
