Northern Iowa got Rank....guess we can not compete with that rural Iowa powerhouse in the recruiting ranks for a top Wisconsin kid....I know they are MVC but man....would rather have had him....still, seems like it might be a good project with this kid

As you said, Steve, Mo Valley. Like it or not that's a distinction with a difference most years. The solution is for the H League to keep getting better and try to reach that level some day. I think the gap is closing.
As for Evan Richard, from the video clips it appears like he has nice size and a great stroke. Not a classic jumpshot but he has a very quick release and his feet are quick enough to get him open. And it seems like he can put the ball on the floor. Looks a lot more physically developed and athletic than Ryan Thornton, for example. Also, you can be sure he's getting great coaching from Jerry Pettigoue.
After Tone leaves we'll need shooters. I like it.

They offered a 4 year schollie for 5 years to him. The assumption is he redshirts next year. Of course if Vander Blue goes elsewhere that would probably change real quick.

We have 2 scholarships left for 2010 and this is where we stand with offers.
2010 Offers Ryan Pierson 6’10” PF St Louis, MO Cole Stefan 6’3” Minnetonka, MN Troy Huff 6’4” Brookfield, WI
Instate Guys I think we should consider (In order) Steve McWhorter Steve Tecker Kyle Kelm Chim Kadima Ben Mills Flavien Davis
I might be missing some guys on this list that we have offered. I haven't seen any of the guys we have offered play.

To the extent these lists are derived from paid recruiting sites, you have to understand that they can be notoriously inaccurate. That's not always their fault. Sometimes even the players themselves will, let's say, exaggerate the schools that have interest in them.

To my knowledge currently we do not. But they are looking at some juco guys too and i would guess that would be a PG. Even if we sign a JUCO PG i would like to sign McWhorter.
I still don't know where we stand with the 2 Chicago kids that committed then re-opened there recruiting. I am assuming at this point they are no longer options.

I understand that. I just put that list together because Rank and a few other offers we had offered committed elsewhere and i just used the information we had on here just to get a clear understanding of where we are for the 2010 class. I am sure that the staff is looking at alot more guys than that for the final two spots.
