Is it just me, or are we playing them in every single sport? I personally have been to 25 UWM games in any sport, give or take a few, this year. I've seen OU play us in quite a few sports.

Is anyone going to the Oakland-MU game tonight? I was offered tickets, but I think I will wrap Christmas presents and suffer the pain that goes with watching the 2005 Green Bay Packers.
I would like to know a bit more about them, so if anyone does go, please post a recap.

I also turned down two freebies ...
5:30 p.m. start time and seeing Oakland twice in one week ... I'll pass.

I see they did beat Notre Dame 102-74 Of course, that is the famous Notre Dame College Falcons of St. Euclid Ohio. In relevant news, they lost to St. Louis 66-59 at home on Saturday.

Do they still have the one and only Obie Trotter (Not the rapper Obie Trice) on their roster?

This game could be an easy win should UWM do one of a few things exceptional. Stop Calvin Wooten. The man can score it. He is a 6'1" guard who shoots the ball extremely well when open, as well as with defenders tight to his face. Should be an interesting matchup with im, I wouldnt' be suprised to see Boo who I feel is one of UWM's better defenders right now guard him...
GO PANTHERS

So it looks like we have to beat them by more than 21.
Com'on Joah, Boo, and AT, let's do it.

Does anyone know if students can get someone else in for free for the Oakland game? Isn't there a deal like that over winter break?

If Wooten is a solid shooter like you say he is, this could bode problems.
Tommie Liddell of St. Louis and Josh Lawrence of Green Bay both got some crazy open looks at shooting the 3.
Shooting the 3 well and often can win ball games against teams that completely overmatch you(i.e. UWM in 2005 NCAA wins over Bama and BC)

Although the three helps, that BC game was won in the trenches...that was not a run and gun up the floor shooting threes...it was a game of posting up cutting to the hoop with hard fouls...Smith and Dudley set that tempo and Joah and everyone else finished with it..and liddell and lawrence arent exactly the main scoring threats for either of their teams...Im guessing wooten will be guarded heavily around screens..plus I dont think lawrence scored to many after the break
