Whoever desided to start the ROBBIE JETER chant needs to be shot in the head!!!!! What is he 12? Give me a break, the past is the past...we don't need to come up with something for every freakin coach!!!!!
Lets move on from this, or atleast think of something that doesn't make it sound like our coach is still wearing diapers.....

From what I have observed, it seems a lot of Rob's friends and family refer to him as "Robbie". I 'll get some verification to make sure he likes it. For what it's worth, I think it is GREAT that we recognize our coach. Something that is unique to Milwaukee.

i agree that it's cool that we acknowledge our coach. i think what made the BP chant so memorable was its uniqueness. it wasn't the same chant that could have had "overrated" inserted instead, which is what the "Robbie Jeter" thing sounds like. understandably that's the easiest thing to fall back on since nothing has been established yet. his name doesn't exactly lend itself to the cool simplicity that made the BP one so effective. it'll take some brainstorming to establish a memorable and fun way of recognizing our next great coach.

I was in the stands with my dad, and the fans really seemed to respond positively to the RJ chant.

I think the thing with Ford is that Mc Coy is looking much better than he EVER did in the past. Maybe Jeter is giving minutes that would have gone to Ford so he can continue to improve.
