Yea the big mac chant was a good one... that guy was a behemoth... it was funny because right before kevin massiah did his sweet alley oop he was taking the inbounds pass right in front of me in the student section and as he was walking to the ball i yelled to him to throw it down on one of these guys and he pointed at me and shook his head and then poof there was the alley oop... kind of a cheesy story but it worked... also not many students at the game tonight kinda dissapointing but understandable with exams/people leaving for christmas break... but we didnt have enough people so i couldnt start my pattented "whos house? OUR HOUSE" chant at the end of the game but aside from that wooten guy putting up almost 30 points i enjoyed seeing us press and actually beginning to run our offense at an uptempo level... it just goes to show that we are gaining confidence in the offense jeter has set up and so far i believe he is moving towards an up tempo form of the swing offense as we saw some tonight...

Big Mac...then Super Size...Awesome Chants Guys as always. The game was a blow out, but did anyone else hate the refs...tonight, it was just calling alot, but SOOOOOO many non calls it hurt.
All in all good game, and I did like the Robbie Jeter chant, I hope he knows that we are behind him and he is accepted, truley ACCEPTED by everyone. (I think)

I was just happy to see a game... my withdrawl has been satisfied. I arrived a bit late b/c of another obligation. I was happy to see the offense clicking more. Although it was odd not seeing dylanrocks and the Freak up in the stands, also my head was cold b/c the hard hat was unavailable.

Yes, the refs were bad, but it was standard HL inconsistency. Nowhere near what you saw in Madison.
IMO, they blew calls on both ends. I guess I can live with that. Eugene Crawford does suck, however.

all around solid effort. they could have beaten them by 40-plus had we not been playing reserves for the last 10 or 12 minutes. i really thought the defense clamped down after Oakland's quick start. i was fearing a let-down game so it was satisfying to see the guys come to life. very happy to see the press used as effectively as it was. OU really had trouble with it. also very pleased to see Young contribute some solid minutes. this game was different for him. he truly played within the offense and as a result had arguably his strongest performance thus far. his shot looked markedly better and he was much stronger on d. i was just really hoping he'd get a chance to throw one down for Chicken #4! oh well. maybe against CSU?!

Can't wait for the Eugene Crawford/Rick Hartzell/Steve Skiles Reunion Tour.

i'm just glad Jeter got into the refs without getting a T last night. when we had a foul disparity of 8 to OU's 1 he went to talk to Crawford at midcourt during a timeout. it was right after Crawford blew an obvious mugging of Chris Hill right in front of Section 106... bad move for Crawford cause he heard every stupid thing we had to say... and promptly shook his head and walked away anyhow, to his credit they did start "giving" Milwaukee some calls after Jeter's conversation... gotta love those consistent, quality Horizon refs! ugh.

By the way, UWM has now won 19 of its last 20 games played at the Cell by an average of 20.6 points per game. This is the principal reason why it's so hard to get major teams to come here for a visit, even in a 2-for-1 arrangement. All in all, it really wasn't a bad non-league slate.

i just hope we can close the non-conference schedule out strong in Wyoming and Montana. while both the games are winnable they will certainly be difficult. hopefully a week off will help rejuvinate the team.

I wasn't impressed with Wooten at all. He was a non factor when his team needed him most - not to mention most of his points came in garbage time. He has good penatration and a decent shot, but he's no leader and he isnt that great to make up for it.
He reminds me of a poor man's Kobe. Everytime he made a shot he had this attitude like "look at me, I'm so bad", and he tried to play into this injury as if he was that much better that he could still throw up 28 points.
His 28 was more a measure of a lack of depth and scorers to pick up the slack for Oakland.
Personally I'm much more concerned with having to deal with Schilb.

I feel a little different about Wooten. He did score 10 of the first 18 pts for Oakland, and then their coach went with the line change for 5-8 minutes. You can't blame him for shooting when his team is just so awful. There wasn't one other player on that team that would even make the UWM squad. I would like to see how much better he would be with a supporting cast.
His "hot dogging" is really annoying, but I think he was one of the best players on the court last night.

Is Ford hurt, or did he move into Jeter's dog house?
