After beating the Golden Showers today ;D ;D ;D, the Badgers can be undisputed champions of the state with a win Thursday. Anyone know how to get tix on the cheap?

Yep. Just show up across the street from the Kohl Center 30 mins to an hour before the game and buy tickets from one of the many scalpers walking up and down the street with literally hundreds of game tickets in their hands. Three years now and I've never paid more than face value, even for lower level seats. Cheaper than face for the higher seats.

My dad is a front-office dude for Rayovac out of Madison. The company has a box at midcourt... I kinda lucked out, he got me four tickets for this year's game. So me, panthers6thman, pantherholic and the guy that got laid out in the halftime layup contest will be causing trouble up there all night.

How did you get tix in that section?? We are getting tix, but would much perfer to be near the other fans! Our ticket office says that the fans are in section 302. You can look on ticketbroker sites. They are running about 65.00 each. Or you can hope to find a scalper outside the Kohl center who has tickets for that section. They're not great seats but it should be fun and it's easier to raise hell in group (and safe too)

I was able to snag a pair of tickets for $20 ($10 each) on ebay last night ... there are a couple more listings out there.
I even saw a pair sell for $5!!

In tribute to our Hawaii friends who post beautiful women from their area, I will take the initiative and begin posting some from the Madison area. Keep it in your pants Lou

Ahhh man that was funny when dude got laid out while goin to the chair I would just like to say that dude out weighed me by 150 pounds we later figured out. That's almost twice my size. I have no excuse cause if i was to make my first, or second layup instead of having to settle on my third shot i wouldn't have had to fight the football coaches bigger brother.

wish i could have been at the Hawaii game since it sounds like i missed some lock-down defense on a good team. it gives me a little more hope for this game against UW-Madison since they have similar size. it's going to take a near perfect game to pull out a win though. let's face it, UW just doesn't lose at home. that coupled with the fact that we're still learning the swing while playing a team that's darn near perfected it. nevertheless, i still think it's possible to come away victorious. to accomplish that we'll have to see the same defensive effort AND hot shooting from multiple contributers.
you have to believe after last year's absolute embarassment that the seniors will really want to step it up. RJ knows that team inside and out so he'll have a wealth of insight... there's just so many intriguing aspects to this game.

Intriguing aspects? Absolutely.
But, as you said, it will take basically a perfect game in order for us to win. UW's size will give us all sorts of problems. If Ray Nixon scores more than 10, it's going to be a long, long game, because that likely means that other things will open up for the bigs or outside for Kam Taylor.
We need to execute perfectly on offense and play amazing defense. I wouldn't mind seeing RJ try to turn up the tempo a bit though, because UW is S-L-O-W.

I offer no insight on the UW game. Every year I get excited, each year we add another 10points to the deficit. Then I make statements that we need to drop the UW series (it's true, drop them for a quality mid-major). I dominate smiley faces. Few can match my ability to insert them to stress my points. ;D See what I'm saying? What? Bored, writing papers.
