There will be none of that until after his 4th season. We already had Bo Ryan jump and forgo his senior year at UWM for the Big Ten, and Bruce left after his senior year to go strait to the SEC!

I think it is a good fit for UWM...he has alot of experiance coaching at a high level plus local recruits will feel comfortable with him

As much as I hate being considered the "little brother" to Madison, I think Jeter will take our school to new heights. His recruitment is going to be so valuable for the 2006 roster.
IN JETER WE TRUST! ;D

If this is true then I am extremely happy. The main obstacle for us was going to be all of the seniors graduating next season. If we are going to continue our great success, and not fall back like Butler, we are going to have to recruit very well in Milwaukee, Chicago, and overall in Wisconsin( Jeter is going to be key to this). I'm impressed with Haidet on this hire.
Freak we are going to be considered "little brother" to UW for a long time. Only after years of success are we going to be able to lose that tag. Hopefully this could be a start to pushing us further onto the national stage.

I'll be surprised if it's formally announced this afternoon. Haven't heard/seen a thing on campus that a press conference has been/will be called. (Ironically just saw half the team walk by my office...maybe it is going on?)
(Just checked....nope, no press conference they were heading to!)

So if this is true, any thoughts on what his coaching style will be? A clone of Madison? Or will he run with and/or modify what we have in place now?

That sounds funny, you have an anonymous source, yet the source hasnt informed any news outlets of this hire? Strangely quiet on the UWM news front, but if it has been decided that he is our next coach, the news would leak somewhere....

If this goes through... I imagine Coach Jeter will be on a plane tomorrow to Cincinnati with a flight to Detroit to follow.
