Looks like the whole coaching staff is going with BP. Can you say Coach Majerus? Where did that info come from?

Bud doesn't have to panic. Final Four weekend is like a job fair for coaches. The cupboard is full. Make the right choice. I like Majerus, but it's early.

Good luck to Bruce. The Milwaukee media needs to let it be known that a very attractive financial package was put together to keep BP here. Local bigwigs including the head of M&I stepped up big time. I feel "good" knowing everything was done on UWM's end to keep BP here. elaborate? what kind of money was offered?

UWM was in the $700,000 range.
But, UWM cannot match the facilities, the SEC, the private jets, more nationally televised games, the crowds, etc.

sounds like a younger BP at a div. I school. i like that he uses full court press. the winning percentage scares me a little just because we had amazing numbers under bruce. still holding hope for majerus though. i think that would be a huge boost to our program

The more I think about it the more I like Ron Hunter. I'm on the bandwagon for Hunter. I loved his energy in the Antrim years.

Thoughts on Hunter,
I moved to Indy for a little over a year and have a few friends at IUPUI. I also settled for Jaguar basketball cuz I didn't want to support Butler. Coach Hunter has done a great job with that program. Plays a very up-tempo game much like Bruce, fun to watch. When Hunter had the talent on his team a few years ago, he took IUPUI into the NCAA Tourney. He knows the competition in the Horizon as well. I saw IUPUI play UWGB not too long ago, and played them well. IUPUI and UWM are very similar schools, both about 28K students, urban environment, commuter style school as well.
The Cell would be a huge upgrade in terms of facilities. IUPUI has a small, high school type gym that makes the Klotsche look like a palace. With our talent, I think he could win and with a solid recruiter on his staff, could win for years to come at UWM.
I guess we wait and see what happens, who is out there, and who will lead us to the Elite 8 and Final Four!
Go Panthers!
