Wait, the biggest game of the year is at the Klotsche Center, on purpose? I guess I’m a little confused but will definitely be there to support. m.youtube.com/watch?v=YRXlklWKjQM

A friendly reminder to everyone to make alternate dinner arrangements. A stop at the concession window with a full house could result in a half-hour or more wait time. Also, only hot dogs, chips, candy and soda are available. Please plan accordingly.

Ridiculous. As much as I like being on campus, it is a high school basketball gym... They better not move back there full time again...

We ate at Hooligans pregame on Thursday. Food was great and not too far from campus. Tbh, for one game, I dont think it is a terrible idea. They do seem to play much better offensively at the K.
If this is a sign of things to come, I wont be happy though.

Lisa's is another excellent option near campus.

Got word that they will make adjustments to enhance the experience. I'm sure details will follow on Wednesday.
While I'm disappointed as a fan. 1,200 in the Klotsche Center is tons louder than UWM Panther Arena. If that gives them a advantage as they practice in that place as well, why not. We all want to get to Indy.

I understand why Bart's doing this today, but I'll reiterate what I've always said: the Klotsche Center as a long-term option is the death knell of our D-1 program. It's never been truer than today. We MUST be downtown. Why cede the CITY to Marquette?

To me, it's says a lot to why Lundy wallowed in D-II for so long.
I don't think you have to worry about him jumping to a larger program anytime soon if his mindset is so small-time that he sees the Klotsche Center as a game venue being a benefit to this program.

If Milwaukee ever wants to grow out of the "UW-" stepchild it has always been, it needs to prepare for the future. Maybe an Kohl-Center-like on-campus Arena with ample parking could be worked out for the long-term.
If we just kill the Arena lease and decide to play at the K (with no backup plan?), I dunno... Give the money we save to the players, I guess.

I hope those in the AD who have been around awhile made it clear to Coach how this would be received by many in the fan base. They sure as hell better win Thursday...
