Seeding for the Horizon League Tournament is starting to take shape as every team now has four games to go.
We are down to a four team race for the top spot:
Milwaukee 12-4 Youngstown St. 12-4 Northern Kentucky 11-5 Cleveland St. 11-5
Remaining schedules of the contenders:
Milwaukee: @ Youngstown St, @ Robert Morris, Purdue Fort Wayne, Cleveland St Youngstown St: Milwaukee, Green Bay, @ Robert Morris, @ IUPUI Northern Kentucky: @ Purdue Fort Wayne, @ Cleveland St, @ Detroit, @ Oakland Cleveland St: Wright St, Northern Kentucky, @ Green Bay, @ Milwaukee
NKU & CSU both have pretty tough schedules to finish up and they would need the Milwaukee/Youngstown St winner to drop one of their other three games to be able to catch up while winning out themselves.
Being that NKU & CSU play each other and we are in great shape tiebreaker wise I think we should at least finish in the top three but more likely in the top two.
If we take down YSU on Thursday we would be the overwhelming favorite to grab the #1 seed. If we lose, we would have to win out and hope Robert Morris can upset the Penguins because they have an easy remaining schedule outside of that.
As we get closer to the finish line it'll become more clear which other teams will be on our side of the bracket.

Youngstown State has the easiest road remaining. Guessing the Penguins will be a 5 point favorite on Thursday over the Panthers.

They should be. They're a great team, playing at home, knowing this is there last true test before the conference tournament.
Everyone's gotta come out Thursday to send good vibes to the team.

I would LOVE for the league tournament semifinals and final to return to campus sites soon!

I would LOVE for the league tournament semifinals and final to return to campus sites soon! I agree. Those are some electric environments, even in years that we didn't host. The games since then have been mostly empty. I wonder if there will be a fan bus if we win in the Quarterfinals.

My ticket group will be there in Indy if we advance. Same. I believe that will be at least 10 between the two of us.

Ticket information went out today to season ticket holders regarding the postseason. Anyone smarter than me who knows how to post pictures on here could probably provide the email.

I'd like to go if there's a fan bus or a carload or two heading down.

Given that we win our home game 3/2, I will be in Indy no matter what. Look forward to seeing you guys there!

Yeah, I called as well and got the same. Not sure if all the teams booked and there will be cancellations or not after the March 2nd games. If not, probably just plan on staying north of the city.

After tonight's games the current tournament matchups would be:
#1 Youngstown State-Bye #2 Milwaukee-Bye #3 Northern Kentucky-Bye #4 Cleveland State vs. #5 Oakland-Bye Matchup to 2nd Round #6 Wright State vs. #11 IUPUI #7 Detroit vs. #10 Green Bay #8 Robert Morris vs. #9 Purdue Fort Wayne
The race for the top spot still has four teams alive. Here is the simplest scenario for each team to claim the #1 seed:
Youngstown State simply needs to win out. Milwaukee needs to win out and have Youngstown State drop any remaining game. Cleveland State needs to win out and have Youngstown State drop two games. Northern Kentucky needs to win out, have Youngstown State drop a game, and have Milwaukee drop two games.
