Also, it's absolutely hilarious someone is trying to dunk on others for "being wrong" based on using a single game sample size of us beating a .500 Horizon league team with literally 1 guy who can dribble and 1 total good player at home.
That's not even getting into that the OP's premise wasn't even remotely proven correct.

Lmao, this is just too GD rich of a response to come from the very same person who earlier in this thread made like 10 *definitive* statements - not opinions - all of which were completely blown up by the players in question AND OUR OWN HEAD COACH in our very last game. Like: I mean I can't even believe this is a discussion LOL. All of our bigs have literally zero offensive skill... You can't play dudes like that together especially since none of them can guard the perimeter either. On top of that, none of our bigs are any good at rebounding.
You play any combo of those 2 together and you crater the offense completely because they offer next to nothing on that end and would destroy the spacing which is what has enabled us to be a surprising shooting team this year. Like it's a completely laughable concept to even suggest it. Also, teams would just go to a basic dribble weave if we had 2 of those dudes on the court together and force them to get moving and it's just going to be a defensive breakdown within a few passes.
What is being suggested is like basketball strategy and thinking from 40-50 years ago. The game has evolved. Thankfully Coach Lundy is smarter than that and understands that the least he can get away with playing our bigs the better it is for the team. If we can get a competent big next year some of you will be absolutely mind blown by the difference it makes.
As far as the stats being referenced go...literally pointless. Sample size is small which leads to tons of noise and we're talking about boiling everything down to BPM in regards to 2 specific guys in Bol and Rand who are physically incapable of playing big minutes (due to conditioning and foul issues). On top of that, both guys are going to show well in BPM compared to other players due to their role, they play small mins, only take spoon fed dunks/layups, and jump at everything to try and block it (which honestly hurts our defense routinely compared to if they just played straight up and used length as a deterrent instead of leaving their feet). This is such a simple concept.
I think you may want to consider this your time to stop talking, kiddo

Yeah, so the big lineup can't guard anybody when a team doesn't have one single guy who can dribble. Who knew.

Clearly you lack the ability of self-respection, so let me quote you again, and maybe this time you'll actually go back and re-read what you wrote, and how you managed to say literally 10 things that were fantastically incorrect and/or stupid in just one (longwinded) post. Or maybe you just didn't watch any of our HL Quarterfinal win against WSU? Either way, time to take the L, or at least take a timeout, chief.

It's you're - and it's very clear why you post. Which is why you and other clowns like Matt can never, ever admit when you're wrong about anything, let alone ever ever ever stop yourself from posting/responding if god forbid you're ever called out about it LOL.

So you're really not ever going to be capable of owning any of this as being off base or wrong in any way, no matter how many pages this thread goes? Just so you know, Reginald will likely always be the only poster on this board who ever takes you seriously - and that will be extremely well deserved. I mean I can't even believe this is a discussion LOL. All of our bigs have literally zero offensive skill... This thread is more entertaining than the game has been. SRT could come say hi to me if he ever actually made it to a game to watch the team. Maybe he can even give his plays to coach.
