I love the Home and Home with St Thomas. Would love to see this become a long term thing. St Thomas will be mid-major wagon within 5 years so would be fun to start a nice little rivalry now and a game that's easily drivable for both fan bases.

I think Lundy needs to really get UW and MU on the docket, its absurd that the 4 D1 basketball teams in this state dont play each other every season. Oh good, this topic, again. Well what other topics would you like to discuss in regards to who Milwaukee plays? Home and Home's with St. Thomas?? Maybe we can get and home and home with UIC or something also.

How about a home and home series with Army, Navy or Air Force. Would get some veterans in the seats.

In the end it is a business. Madison will have that whole place full. We'd be lucky to draw a few thousand people. Initially I thought it would be cool, but stadium games are mostly garbage. Speaking of being cool, the UW-Madison teams and fans will be lucky if it is. It could be cold, very very cold. You do realize that AmFam Field has a roof that will be closed and a heating system don't you?

You do realize that AmFam Field has a roof that will be closed and a heating system don't you? Sure do. I've attended April games there with outdoor temperatures of approximately 30 degrees. Th e heating system is designed to warm the air by 20 degrees. So in those situations with the inside temperatures of approximately 50 degrees, I've been reasonably comfortable in winter clothing including a stocking cap.
Basketball at Am Fam Field in November is doable, even if under atypical conditions. For me, a relatively warm and cozy setting would be greatly preferred. Keep in mind this is coming from a guy with Raynaud's who moved to the southwest in part to escape the cold and is typing this with the home thermostat comfortably set at 80 degrees. To each their own.

Looking at the average high temperature in Milwaukee in early April & November is 49. Only difference in April is you get that winter cold trapped in the stadium.

Looking at the average high temperature in Milwaukee in early April & November is 49. Only difference in April is you get that winter cold trapped in the stadium. Using the average temperature of 48 F that you stated in this thread a few weeks ago, a day like that would allow for indoor game time temps to be heated into the 60's. But if it is a November 11 day like in 2019, which resulted in afternoon temps at the ballpark in the low 20's and evening temps in the high teens, "it could be cold, very, very cold." Because this event involves UW-Madison, I admit to hoping it will be a colossal bust. If the Panthers were involved, I would probably have stated the outdoor temperatures on that day "could be in the 70's." I am guessing some hope a successful initial event would lead to the involvement of other state teams in the future. My personal viewpoint is that it would not be a very good setting for such an event. We will see.
